| (ⲁ̅) ⲡⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲥⲉⲇⲉⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲏⲃ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲉ̀ϩⲣⲉⲛ ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ϥⲛⲁⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⲡϫⲱϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ | (ⲁ︦) ⲡⲉⲉⲓⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲥⲉⲇⲉⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲣ̅ⲣⲟ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲡⲉ. ⲡⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϫⲟⲥⲉ ⲡⲉ. ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲱⲙⲛ̅ⲧ ⲉⲁⲃⲣⲁϩⲁⲙ. ⲉⲁϥⲕⲟⲧϥ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲡϭⲟϫϭϫ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲣ̅ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ | (1) For this Melchisedek, (the) king of Salēm, the priest of God most high, he who met Abraam returning from (the) slaughter of the kings, and he blessed him, | (1) Οὗτος γὰρ ὁ Μελχισέδεκ, βασιλεὺς Σαλήμ, ἱερεὺς τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ὑψίστου, ὁ συναντήσας Ἀβραὰμ ὑποστρέφοντι ἀπὸ τῆς κοπῆς τῶν βασιλέων καὶ εὐλογήσας αὐτόν, |
| (ⲃ̅) ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲫⲉϣ ⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁϥ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉ̀ϣⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲱⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ϯϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ | (ⲃ︦) ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲁⲃⲣⲁϩⲁⲙ ϯⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲕⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ. ϣⲟⲣⲡ̅ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉϣⲁⲩϩⲉⲣⲙⲏⲛⲉⲩⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲣ̅ⲣⲟ ⲛ̅ⲧⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ. ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲥ ⲟⲛ ϫⲉ ⲡⲣ̅ⲣⲟ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲣ̅ⲣⲟ ⲛ̅ϯⲣⲏⲛⲏ. | (2) to whom Abraam divided (a) tenth from everything of his,-first indeed being interpreted, (the) king of [the] righteousness'; after it, '(the) king of Salēm,' that is to say, '(the) king of [the] peace'; | (2) ᾧ καὶ δεκάτην ἀπὸ πάντων ἐμέρισεν Ἀβραάμ, πρῶτον μὲν ἑρμηνευόμενος βασιλεὺς δικαιοσύνης ἔπειτα δὲ καὶ βασιλεὺς Σαλήμ, ὅ ἐστιν βασιλεὺς εἰρήνης, |
| (ⲅ̅) ⲟⲩⲁⲧⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲁⲧⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲡⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲧⲉϥ ⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛ̀ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲧⲉϥ ϧⲁⲉ̀ ⲛ̀ⲱⲛϧ ϥⲧⲉⲛⲑⲱⲛⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫϯ ϥϣⲟⲡ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲏⲃ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ | (ⲅ︦) ⲉⲩⲁⲧⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲁⲧⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲡⲉ. ⲉⲙⲡⲟⲩϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲉϥⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁ. ⲉⲙⲛ̅ⲧϥ̅ ⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲟⲩ. ⲉⲙⲛ̅ⲧϥ̅ ϩⲁⲏ ⲛ̅ⲱⲛϩ̅. ⲉϥⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ϣⲁⲃⲟⲗ. | (3) fatherless, motherless (he) is, not a word as to generation is (there) of his; he hath not beginning of day, nor hath he end of life; but he is likened unto (the) Son of God; he remaineth priest for ever. | (3) ἀπάτωρ, ἀμήτωρ, ἀγενεαλόγητος, μήτε ἀρχὴν ἡμερῶν μήτε ζωῆς τέλος ἔχων, ἀφωμοιωμένος δὲ τῷ υἱῷ τοῦ θεοῦ, μένει ἱερεὺς εἰς τὸ διηνεκές. |
| (ⲇ̅) ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁϣ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲓⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϯ ⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁϥ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲧⲣⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏⲥ | (ⲇ︦) ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁϣ ⲛ̅ϭⲟⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲁⲃⲣⲁϩⲁⲙ ⲡⲡⲁⲧⲣⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏⲥ ϯⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ϣⲱⲗ | (4) But see how great is this (one), to whom Abraam gave (a) tenth from the choice things of his, the patriarch. | (4) Θεωρεῖτε δὲ πηλίκος οὗτος ᾧ δεκάτην Ἀβραὰμ ἔδωκεν ἐκ τῶν ἀκροθινίων ὁ πατριάρχης. |
| (ⲉ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲗⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϭⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏⲃ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲧⲟⲓ ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϭⲓ ⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲕⲉⲡⲉⲣ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧϯⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ | (ⲉ︦) ⲛ̅ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲉⲛ ϩⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲗⲉⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲧϫⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ. ⲟⲩⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲉⲧⲧⲉ ⲡⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲛⲏⲩ. ⲕⲁⲓⲡⲉⲣ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧϯⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲃⲣⲁϩⲁⲙ. | (5) And they indeed from the sons of Levi, about to receive the priesthood, have commandment delivered unto them to receive (a) tenth from the people according to the law, who are their brethren, although they came from the loins of Abraam: | (5) καὶ οἱ μὲν ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Λευὶ τὴν ἱερατείαν λαμβάνοντες ἐντολὴν ἔχουσιν ἀποδεκατοῦν τὸν λαὸν κατὰ τὸν νόμον, τοῦτʼ ἔστιν τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν, καίπερ ἐξεληλυθότας ἐκ τῆς ὀσφύος Ἀβραάμ· |
| (ⲋ̅) ⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲱϣ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ | (ⲋ︦) ⲡⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁⲩⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲅⲉⲛⲉⲁ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ. ⲁϥⲧⲧⲉ ⲁⲃⲣⲁϩⲁⲙ ⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲩⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲉⲣⲏⲧ. | (6) for he whose generation from them was not spoken of, received (a) tenth from Abraam, and he blessed him who had the promises. | (6) ὁ δὲ μὴ γενεαλογούμενος ἐξ αὐτῶν δεδεκάτωκεν Ἀβραάμ, καὶ τὸν ἔχοντα τὰς ἐπαγγελίας εὐλόγηκεν. |
| (ⲍ̅) ⲁⲧϭⲛⲉ ⲁⲛⲧⲓⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ϣⲁϥϭⲓⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ | (ⲍ︦) ⲭⲱⲣⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲱϩⲙ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲟⲃⲕ̅ ϫⲓⲥⲙⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲟⲧⲡ̅ ⲉⲣⲟϥ. | (7) But without all controversy the little is blessed by the greater than him. | (7) χωρὶς δὲ πάσης ἀντιλογίας τὸ ἔλαττον ὑπὸ τοῦ κρείττονος εὐλογεῖται. |
| (ⲏ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ϣⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲥⲉϭⲓ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉⲙⲁϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲥⲉⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ϧⲁⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ϥⲟⲛϧ | (ⲏ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲉⲓⲙⲁ ⲙⲉⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉϣⲁⲩϫⲓ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲣ̅ⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲣⲉ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ϥⲟⲛϩ̅. | (8) And here men who die receive tenths; but there it is witnessed of him that he liveth. | (8) καὶ ὧδε μὲν δεκάτας ἀποθνῄσκοντες ἄνθρωποι λαμβάνουσιν, ἐκεῖ δὲ μαρτυρούμενος ὅτι ζῇ. |
| (ⲑ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲗⲉⲩⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲫⲏ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁϥϭⲓ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉⲙⲁϯ ⲁϥϯⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ | (ⲑ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲛϫⲟⲟϥ ϩⲓⲧⲛ̅ ⲁⲃⲣⲁϩⲁⲙ. ⲡⲕⲉⲗⲉⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϣⲁϥϫⲓⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⲁⲩϯⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ. | (9) And as to say a word, because of Abraam, Levi also indeed, who was (to) receive tenths, gave (a) tenth; | (9) καὶ ὡς ἔπος εἰπεῖν, διʼ Ἀβραὰμ καὶ Λευὶ ὁ δεκάτας λαμβάνων δεδεκάτωται, |

| (ⲓ̅ⲁ̅) ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡϫⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲟⲡ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏⲃ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲉⲩⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲱⲧⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲧⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲟⲩ ⲧⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲧⲧⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲥⲉⲇⲉⲕ ⲉ̀ⲑⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲏⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲛⲉϫⲟⲥ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲧⲧⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ⲁⲁⲣⲱⲛ | (ⲓ︦ⲁ︦) ⲉⲛⲉⲟⲩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩϫⲱⲕ ϭⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ⲛ̅ⲗⲉⲩⲉⲓ. ⲡⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϫⲓ ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲱⲱⲥ. ⲛⲉⲟⲩ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲧⲧⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⲙ̅ⲙⲉⲗⲭⲓⲥⲉⲇⲉⲕ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲧⲙ̅ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲧⲧⲁⲝⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲁⲁⲣⲱⲛ. | (11) If indeed then (the) completion was being through the priesthood of the Levite; for law was given to the people in its time; then what was (the) need for there to be another priest according to (the) order of Melchisedek, and not to say, 'According to (the) order of Aaron?' | (11) Εἰ μὲν οὖν τελείωσις διὰ τῆς Λευιτικῆς ἱερωσύνης ἦν, ὁ λαὸς γὰρ ἐπʼ αὐτῆς νενομοθέτηται, τίς ἔτι χρεία κατὰ τὴν τάξιν Μελχισέδεκ ἕτερον ἀνίστασθαι ἱερέα καὶ οὐ κατὰ τὴν τάξιν Ἀαρὼν λέγεσθαι; |
| (ⲓ̅ⲃ̅) ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲏ ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ | (ⲓ︦ⲃ︦) ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲧⲣⲉⲩⲡⲱⲱⲛⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ. ϩⲁⲡⲥ̅ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲡⲱⲱⲛⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲕⲉⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ. | (12) For the priesthood being about to be removed, necessarily there is a removing of the law also. | (12) μετατιθεμένης γὰρ τῆς ἱερωσύνης ἐξ ἀνάγκης καὶ νόμου μετάθεσις γίνεται. |

A way of coming in is this, of a better (lit. chosen) hope, this through which we shall (lit. will) draw near unto God; | (19) οὐδὲν γὰρ ἐτελείωσεν ὁ νόμος, ἐπεισαγωγὴ δὲ κρείττονος ἐλπίδος, διʼ ἧς ἐγγίζομεν τῷ θεῷ. |

| (ⲕ̅ⲇ̅) ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ϥⲛⲁⲟϩⲓ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏⲃ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲉϣⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲁⲥⲓⲥ | (ⲕ︦ⲇ︦) ⲡⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ϫⲉ ϥⲛⲁϭⲱ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ. ⲟⲩⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉϥⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ⲁϫⲛ̅ⲱϫⲛ̅. | (24) But this (one) because he will stay for ever received the priesthood without passing to another. | (24) ὁ δὲ διὰ τὸ μένειν αὐτὸν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἀπαράβατον ἔχει τὴν ἱερωσύνην· |
| (ⲕ̅ⲉ̅) ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣ̀ϫⲟⲙ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ⲉ̀ⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲁ ⲫϯ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉϥⲟⲛϧ ⲛ̀ⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉ̀ⲑⲣⲉϥⲥⲉⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲟⲩ | (ⲕ︦ⲉ︦) ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ̅ϭⲟⲙ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϫⲟ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲁϯ ⲡⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ̅. ⲉϥⲟⲛϩ̅ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉϥⲥⲙ̅ⲙⲉ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲟⲩ: | (25) Therefore it is possible for him to save always them who come to God through him. Living always to intercede for them. | (25) ὅθεν καὶ σῴζειν εἰς τὸ παντελὲς δύναται τοὺς προσερχομένους διʼ αὐτοῦ τῷ θεῷ, πάντοτε ζῶν εἰς τὸ ἐντυγχάνειν ὑπὲρ αὐτῶν. |
| (ⲕ̅ⲋ̅) ⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁϥⲥⲁⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉϥⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧⲡⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲁⲧⲥⲱϥ ⲉϥⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ | (ⲕ︦ⲋ︦) ⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲉⲓⲙⲓⲛⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲡⲣⲉⲡⲉⲓ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲛ̅ⲃⲁⲗϩⲏⲧ ⲛ̅ⲁⲧⲧⲱⲗⲙ̅. ⲉϥⲥⲁϩⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲃⲉ. ⲉⲁϥϫⲓⲥⲉ ⲉⲙⲡⲏⲩⲉ. | (26) For an high priest of this kind was being comely for us, honourable, without evil, undefiled, separated from the sinners; and he was exalted above the heavens. | (26) Τοιοῦτος γὰρ ἡμῖν καὶ ἔπρεπεν ἀρχιερεύς, ὅσιος, ἄκακος, ἀμίαντος, κεχωρισμένος ἀπὸ τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν, καὶ ὑψηλότερος τῶν οὐρανῶν γενόμενος· |

| (ⲕ̅ⲏ̅) ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ϣⲁϥⲭⲱ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲣⲭⲏⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲛⲁϣ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ϥⲧⲁϩⲟ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉϥϫⲏⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ | (ⲕ︦ⲏ︦) ⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉϣⲁϥⲕⲁⲑⲓⲥⲧⲁ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲧϭⲟⲙ. ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲡⲱⲣⲕ̅ ⲉⲧⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲥⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ. ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧϫⲏⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ. | (28) For the law appointeth men as high priest, they having weakness; but the word of the oath, this which was after the law, setteth up a Son completed for ever. | (28) ὁ νόμος γὰρ ἀνθρώπους καθίστησιν ἀρχιερεῖς ἔχοντας ἀσθένειαν, ὁ λόγος δὲ τῆς ὁρκωμοσίας τῆς μετὰ τὸν νόμον υἱόν, εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τετελειωμένον. |
