(ⲁ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲛ̀ϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲟⲗⲟⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫϯ ⲥⲟⲧⲡϥ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥϫⲏⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓϩⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲡⲓϩⲱⲃ ⲫⲁ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲁ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫϯ ⲡⲉ (1) And David the king said to all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom the Lord has chosen, is young and tender, and the work is great; for it is not for man, but for the Lord God. (1) Καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ ὁ βασιλεὺς πάσῃ τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ Σαλωµων ὁ υἱός µου, εἷς ὃν ᾑρέτικεν ἐν αὐτῷ κύριος, νέος καὶ ἁπαλός, καὶ τὸ ἔργον µέγα, ὅτι οὐκ ἀνθρώπῳ ἡ οἰκοδοµή, ἀλλ’ ἢ κυρίῳ θεῷ.
(ⲃ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ϯϫⲟⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲁⲓⲥⲟⲃϯ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϩⲁⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϩⲟⲙⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲃⲉⲛⲓⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲱⲛⲓ ⲉⲩⲑⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩϫⲏⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲱⲛⲓ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲉⲛⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲇⲟⲛⲡⲁⲧⲓⲟⲛ ⲉϥⲟϣ (2) I have prepared according to all my might for the house of my God gold, silver, brass, iron, wood, onyx stones, and costly and variegated stones for setting, and every precious stone, and much Parian marble. (2) κατὰ πᾶσαν τὴν δύναµιν ἡτοίµακα εἰς οἶκον θεοῦ µου χρυσίον, ἀργύριον, χαλκόν, σίδηρον, ξύλα, λίθους σοοµ καὶ πληρώσεως καὶ λίθους πολυτελεῖς καὶ ποικίλους καὶ πάντα λίθον τίµιον καὶ πάριον πολύν.
(ⲅ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡϫⲓⲛⲑⲣⲓϯⲙⲁϯ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲉϥϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϩⲁⲧ ⲉ̀ⲁⲓⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁⲓϯ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩϭⲓⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲡⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ (3) And still farther, because I took pleasure in the house of my God, I have gold and silver which I have procured for myself, and, behold, I have given them to the house of my God over and above, beyond what I have prepared for the holy house. (3) καὶ ἔτι ἐν τῷ εὐδοκῆσαί µε ἐν οἴκῳ θεοῦ µου ἔστιν µοι ὃ περιπεποίηµαι χρυσίον καὶ ἀργύριον, καὶ ἰδοὺ δέδωκα εἰς οἶκον θεοῦ µου εἰς ὕψος ἐκτὸς ὧν ἡτοίµακα εἰς τὸν οἶκον τῶν ἁγίων,
(ⲇ̅) ⲅ̅ ⲛ̀ϣⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲓⲛϭⲱⲣ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲥⲟⲩⲫⲓⲣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲅ̅ ⲛ̀ϣⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲓⲛϭⲱⲣ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲧ ⲛ̀ⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲉⲗⲁⲗⲱ ⲉ̀ⲛⲓϫⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ (4) Three thousand talents of gold of Suphir, and seven thousand talents of fine silver, for the overlaying of the walls of the sanctuary: (4) τρισχίλια τάλαντα χρυσίου τοῦ ἐκ Σουφιρ καὶ ἑπτακισχίλια τάλαντα ἀργυρίου δοκίµου ἐξαλειφθῆναι ἐν αὐτοῖς τοὺς τοίχους τοῦ ἱεροῦ
(ⲉ̅) ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲧⲉⲭⲛⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲟⲩⲟⲧ ⲙ̀ⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲕ ⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ (5) for thee to use the gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for every work by the hand of the artificers. And who is willing to dedicate himself in work this day for the Lord? (5) διὰ χειρὸς τεχνιτῶν. καὶ τίς ὁ προθυµούµενος πληρῶσαι τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ σήµερον κυρίῳ;
(ⲋ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ϩⲏⲧ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲧⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲭⲓⲗⲓⲁⲣⲭⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲡⲣⲟⲥⲧⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲟⲓⲕⲟⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ (6) Then the heads of families, and the princes of the children of Israel, and the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and the overseers of the works, and the king’s builders, offered willingly. (6) καὶ προεθυµήθησαν ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ οἱ χιλίαρχοι καὶ οἱ ἑκατόνταρχοι καὶ οἱ προστάται τῶν ἔργων καὶ οἱ οἰκονόµοι τοῦ βασιλέως
(ⲍ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉ̅ ⲛ̀ϣⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲓⲛϭⲱⲣ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲛ̀ϫⲓⲛϭⲱⲣ ⲛ̀ϩⲟⲙⲧ ⲛ̀ⲣ̅ ⲛ̀ϣⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ϫⲓⲛϭⲱⲣ ⲙ̀ⲃⲉⲛⲓⲡⲓ (7) And they gave for the works of the house of the Lord five thousand talents of gold, and ten thousand gold pieces, and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of brass, and a hundred thousand talents of iron. (7) καὶ ἔδωκαν εἰς τὰ ἔργα οἴκου κυρίου χρυσίου τάλαντα πεντακισχίλια καὶ χρυσοῦς µυρίους καὶ ἀργυρίου ταλάντων δέκα χιλιάδας καὶ χαλκοῦ τάλαντα µύρια ὀκτακισχίλια καὶ σιδήρου ταλάντων χιλιάδας ἑκατόν.
(ⲏ̅) ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲡⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫϯ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲧϫⲓϫ ⲛ̀ⲓⲉⲏⲗ ⲛ̀ⲅⲉⲇⲥⲱⲛ (8) And they who had precious stone, gave it into the treasuries of the house of the Lord by the hand of Jeiel the Gedsonite. (8) καὶ οἷς εὑρέθη παρ’ αὐτοῖς λίθος, ἔδωκαν εἰς τὰς ἀποθήκας οἴκου κυρίου διὰ χειρὸς Ιιηλ τοῦ Γηρσωνι.
(ⲑ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲉϥϫⲏⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ (9) And the people rejoiced because of the willingness, for they offered willingly to the Lord with a full heart: and king David rejoiced greatly. (9) καὶ εὐφράνθη ὁ λαὸς ὑπὲρ τοῦ προθυµηθῆναι, ὅτι ἐν καρδίᾳ πλήρει προεθυµήθησαν τῷ κυρίῳ, καὶ Δαυιδ ὁ βασιλεὺς εὐφράνθη µεγάλως.
(ⲓ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲛ̀ϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϥⲥⲙⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ (10) And king David blessed the Lord before the congregation, saying, Blessed art thou, O Lord God of Israel, our Father, from everlasting and to everlasting. (10) καὶ εὐλόγησεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Δαυιδ τὸν κύριον ἐνώπιον τῆς ἐκκλησίας λέγων Εὐλογητὸς εἶ, κύριε ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ, ὁ πατὴρ ἡµῶν ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος.
(ⲓ̅ⲁ̅) ⲑⲱⲕ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓϭⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲃ ⲉ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲅⲁⲣ ϧⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕϩⲟ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ϣⲗⲟⲗ (11) Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the might: for thou art Lord of all things that are in heaven and upon the earth: before thy face every king and nation is troubled. (11) σοί, κύριε, ἡ µεγαλωσύνη καὶ ἡ δύναµις καὶ τὸ καύχηµα καὶ ἡ νίκη καὶ ἡ ἰσχύς, ὅτι σὺ πάντων τῶν ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς δεσπόζεις, ἀπὸ προσώπου σου ταράσσεται πᾶς βασιλεὺς καὶ ἔθνος.
(ⲓ̅ⲃ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϩⲱⲥ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲕ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲥⲭⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ϧⲁⲧⲟⲧⲕ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲉ̀ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲥⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϫⲱⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧϯϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲛⲧⲟⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ (12) From thee come wealth and glory: thou, O Lord, rulest over all, the Lord of all dominion, and in thy hand is strength and rule; and thou art almighty with thy hand to increase and establish all things. (12) παρὰ σοῦ ὁ πλοῦτος καὶ ἡ δόξα, σὺ πάντων ἄρχεις, κύριε ὁ ἄρχων πάσης ἀρχῆς, καὶ ἐν χειρί σου ἰσχὺς καὶ δυναστεία, καὶ ἐν χειρί σου, παντοκράτωρ, µεγαλῦναι καὶ κατισχῦσαι τὰ πάντα.
(ⲓ̅ⲅ̅) ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲛⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲱⲟⲩ (13) And now, Lord, we give thanks to thee, and praise thy glorious name. (13) καὶ νῦν, κύριε, ἐξοµολογούµεθά σοι καὶ αἰνοῦµεν τὸ ὄνοµα τῆς καυχήσεώς σου.
(ⲓ̅ⲇ̅) ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲓⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲛⲛⲁϣ̀ϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⲛ̀ⲉⲣⲟⲩⲟⲧ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲕ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲛϯ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲕ (14) But who am I, and what is my people, that we have been able to be thus forward in offering to thee? for all things are thine, and of thine own have we given thee, (14) καὶ τίς εἰµι ἐγὼ καὶ τίς ὁ λαός µου, ὅτι ἰσχύσαµεν προθυµηθῆναί σοι κατὰ ταῦτα; ὅτι σὰ τὰ πάντα, καὶ ἐκ τῶν σῶν δεδώκαµέν σοι.
(ⲓ̅ⲉ̅) ϫⲉ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉⲙⲛ̀ϫⲱⲓⲗⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ϫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ ϣⲟⲡ (15) for we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as all our fathers were: our days upon the earth are as a shadow, and there is no remaining. (15) ὅτι πάροικοί ἐσµεν ἐναντίον σου καὶ παροικοῦντες ὡς πάντες οἱ πατέρες ἡµῶν· ὡς σκιὰ αἱ ἡµέραι ἡµῶν ἐπὶ γῆς, καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὑποµονή.
(ⲓ̅ⲋ̅) ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲁⲓⲥⲟⲃϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲉ̀ⲡϫⲓⲛⲕⲱⲧ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ (16) O Lord our God, as for all this abundance which I have prepared that a house should be built to thy holy name, it is of thy hand, and all is thine. (16) κύριε ὁ θεὸς ἡµῶν, πᾶν τὸ πλῆθος τοῦτο, ὃ ἡτοίµακα οἰκοδοµηθῆναι οἶκον τῷ ὀνόµατι τῷ ἁγίῳ σου, ἐκ χειρός σού ἐστιν, καὶ σοὶ τὰ πάντα.
(ⲓ̅ⲍ̅) ⲁⲓⲉⲙⲓ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉⲧⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲛ̀ϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲕⲙⲉⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲇⲓⲕⲉⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲟⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⲙ̀ⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲑⲉⲗⲏⲗ ⲛ̀ϩⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲟⲧ (17) And I know, Lord, that thou art he that searches the hearts, and thou lovest righteousness. I have willingly offered all these things in simplicity of heart; and now I have seen with joy thy people here present, willingly offering to thee. (17) καὶ ἔγνων, κύριε, ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ ἐτάζων καρδίας καὶ δικαιοσύνην ἀγαπᾷς· ἐν ἁπλότητι καρδίας προεθυµήθην πάντα ταῦτα, καὶ νῦν τὸν λαόν σου τὸν εὑρεθέντα ὧδε εἶδον ἐν εὐφροσύνῃ προθυµηθέντα σοι.
(ⲓ̅ⲏ̅) ⲫϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡϩⲏⲧ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲥⲟⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲕ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ (18) O Lord God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, preserve these things in the thought of the heart of thy people for ever, and direct their hearts to thee. (18) κύριε ὁ θεὸς Αβρααµ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ισραηλ τῶν πατέρων ἡµῶν, φύλαξον ταῦτα ἐν διανοίᾳ καρδίας λαοῦ σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ κατεύθυνον τὰς καρδίας αὐτῶν πρὸς σέ.
(ⲓ̅ⲑ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲟⲗⲟⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲁϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲟⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲉ̀ⲡϫⲓⲛⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉⲕⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲕⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲕⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲃϯ ⲉ̀ⲡϫⲱⲕ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲏⲓ (19) And to Solomon my son give a good heart, to perform thy commandments, and to observe thy testimonies, and thine ordinances, and to accomplish the building of thy house. (19) καὶ Σαλωµων τῷ υἱῷ µου δὸς καρδίαν ἀγαθὴν ποιεῖν τὰς ἐντολάς σου καὶ τὰ µαρτύριά σου καὶ τὰ προστάγµατά σου καὶ τοῦ ἐπὶ τέλος ἀγαγεῖν τὴν κατασκευὴν τοῦ οἴκου σου.
(ⲕ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲛ̀ϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ϫⲉ ⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲟϯ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲁⲩⲕⲉⲗϫ ⲕⲉⲗⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ (20) And David said to the whole congregation, Bless ye the Lord our God. And all the congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and they bowed the knee and worshipped the Lord, and did obeisance to the king. (20) καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ πάσῃ τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ Εὐλογήσατε κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑµῶν· καὶ εὐλόγησεν πᾶσα ἡ ἐκκλησία κύριον τὸν θεὸν τῶν πατέρων αὐτῶν καὶ κάµψαντες τὰ γόνατα προσεκύνησαν τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ τῷ βασιλεῖ.
(ⲕ̅ⲁ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ϣⲱⲧ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲥϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲁϥⲓⲛⲓ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛϭⲗⲓⲗ ⲉ̀ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲟⲩϣⲟ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲥⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲱⲓⲗⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϣⲟ ⲛ̀ϩⲓⲏⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ⲛ̀ϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ (21) And David sacrificed to the Lord, and offered up whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord on the morrow after the first day, a thousand calves, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, and their drink-offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel. (21) καὶ ἔθυσεν Δαυιδ τῷ κυρίῳ θυσίας καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν ὁλοκαυτώµατα τῷ θεῷ τῇ ἐπαύριον τῆς πρώτης ἡµέρας, µόσχους χιλίους, κριοὺς χιλίους, ἄρνας χιλίους καὶ τὰς σπονδὰς αὐτῶν καὶ θυσίας εἰς πλῆθος παντὶ τῷ Ισραηλ.
(ⲕ̅ⲃ̅) ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲱ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲣⲁϣⲓ (22) And they ate and drank joyfully that day before the Lord: and they made Solomon the son of David king a second time, and anointed him king before the Lord, and Sadoc to the priesthood. (22) καὶ ἔφαγον καὶ ἔπιον ἐναντίον κυρίου ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡµέρᾳ µετὰ χαρᾶς καὶ ἐβασίλευσαν ἐκ δευτέρου τὸν Σαλωµων υἱὸν Δαυιδ καὶ ἔχρισαν αὐτὸν τῷ κυρίῳ εἰς βασιλέα καὶ Σαδωκ εἰς ἱερωσύνην.
(ⲕ̅ⲅ̅) (23) And Solomon sat upon the throne of his father David, and was highly honoured; and all Israel obeyed him. (23) καὶ ἐκάθισεν Σαλωµων ἐπὶ θρόνου Δαυιδ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ εὐδοκήθη, καὶ ἐπήκουσαν αὐτοῦ πᾶς Ισραηλ·
(ⲕ̅ⲇ̅) (24) The princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons of king David his father, were subject to him. (24) οἱ ἄρχοντες καὶ οἱ δυνάσται καὶ πάντες υἱοὶ τοῦ βασιλέως Δαυιδ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ὑπετάγησαν αὐτῷ.
(ⲕ̅ⲉ̅) (25) And the Lord magnified Solomon over all Israel, and gave him royal glory, such as was not upon any king before him. (25) καὶ ἐµεγάλυνεν κύριος τὸν Σαλωµων ἐπάνωθεν ἐναντίον παντὸς Ισραηλ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ δόξαν βασιλέως, ὃ οὐκ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ παντὸς βασιλέως ἔµπροσθεν αὐτοῦ.
(ⲕ̅ⲋ̅) (26) And David the son of Jessae reigned over Israel forty years; (26) Καὶ Δαυιδ υἱὸς Ιεσσαι ἐβασίλευσεν ἐπὶ Ισραηλ
(ⲕ̅ⲍ̅) (27) seven years in Chebron, and thirty-three years in Jerusalem. (27) ἔτη τεσσαράκοντα, ἐν Χεβρων ἔτη ἑπτὰ καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαληµ ἔτη τριάκοντα τρία.
(ⲕ̅ⲏ̅) (28) And he died in a good old age, full of days, in wealth, and glory: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead. (28) καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν ἐν γήρει καλῷ πλήρης ἡµερῶν πλούτῳ καὶ δόξῃ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Σαλωµων υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἀντ’ αὐτοῦ.
(ⲕ̅ⲑ̅) (29) And the rest of the acts of David, the former and the latter, are written in the history of Samuel the seer, and in the history of Nathan the prophet, and in the history of Gad the seer, (29) οἱ δὲ λοιποὶ λόγοι τοῦ βασιλέως Δαυιδ οἱ πρότεροι καὶ οἱ ὕστεροι γεγραµµένοι εἰσὶν ἐν λόγοις Σαµουηλ τοῦ βλέποντος καὶ ἐπὶ λόγων Ναθαν τοῦ προφήτου καὶ ἐπὶ λόγων Γαδ τοῦ βλέποντος
(ⲗ̅) (30) concerning all his reign, and his power, and the times which went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the earth. (30) περὶ πάσης τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ καὶ τῆς δυναστείας αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ καιροί, οἳ ἐγένοντο ἐπ’ αὐτῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ ἐπὶ πάσας βασιλείας τῆς γῆς.
