First Epistle to the Corinthians 11

(ⲁ̅) ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲫⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱ ⲉ̀ϯⲟⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ (ⲁ︦) ⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲛ̅ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲛⲧ̅ ⲉⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅. (1) Be ye like me, according as I also am like Christ. (1) μιμηταί μου γίνεσθε, καθὼς κἀγὼ Χριστοῦ.
(ⲃ̅) ϯⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲓϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ (ⲃ︦) ϯⲉⲡⲁⲓⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲱⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ϩⲛ̅ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓϯ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ: (2) But I honour you because ye remember me in all things, and according as I delivered to you the traditions, ye lay hold on them. (2) Ἐπαινῶ δὲ ὑμᾶς ὅτι πάντα μου μέμνησθε καὶ καθὼς παρέδωκα ὑμῖν τὰς παραδόσεις κατέχετε.
(ⲅ̅) ϯⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲧⲁⲫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲧⲁⲫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫϯ ⲡⲉ (ⲅ︦) ϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲧⲁⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅. ⲧⲁⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲧⲁⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. (3) I wish you to know (lit, knowing) that (the) head of every man is Christ, but (the) head of the woman is her husband, but (the) head of Christ is God. (3) θέλω δὲ ὑμᾶς εἰδέναι ὅτι παντὸς ἀνδρὸς ἡ κεφαλὴ ὁ Χριστός ἐστιν, κεφαλὴ δὲ γυναικὸς ὁ ἀνήρ, κεφαλὴ δὲ τοῦ Χριστοῦ ὁ θεός.
(ⲇ̅) ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲓⲉ ⲉϥⲉⲣⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲉ ϫⲱϥ ϩⲱⲃⲥ ⲉϥϯϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲁⲫⲉ (ⲇ︦) ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉϥϣⲗⲏⲗ ⲏ ⲉϥⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲁⲡⲉ ϩⲟⲃⲥ ϥϯϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉϥⲁⲡⲉ. (4) Every man who prayeth or prophesieth, having his head covered, is shaming his head. (4) πᾶς ἀνὴρ προσευχόμενος ἢ προφητεύων κατὰ κεφαλῆς ἔχων καταισχύνει τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ·
(ⲉ̅) ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲥⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲓⲉ ⲉⲥⲉⲣⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲱⲥ ϩⲱⲃⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲥϯϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲥⲁⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲣⲱ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲉ ϫⲱⲥ ϧⲟⲕϩⲥ (ⲉ︦) ⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲥϣⲗⲏⲗ ⲏ ⲉⲥⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲧⲉⲥⲁⲡⲉ ϭⲟⲗⲡ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲥϯϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥⲁⲡⲉ. ⲧⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲉⲓϩⲱⲃ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉ ϫⲱⲥ ϩⲟⲟⲕⲉ. (5) But every woman praying or prophesying with her head not covered shameth her head: for it is one and it is the same as she whose head is shaven. (5) πᾶσα δὲ γυνὴ προσευχομένη ἢ προφητεύουσα ἀκατακαλύπτῳ τῇ κεφαλῇ καταισχύνει τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτῆς, ἓν γάρ ἐστιν καὶ τὸ αὐτὸ τῇ ἐξυρημένῃ.
(ⲋ̅) ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲛⲁϩⲉⲃⲥ ϫⲱⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲥϧⲟⲕϩϥ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲟⲩϣⲱϣ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲃⲥ ϫⲱⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲕϩϥ ⲓⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲥϩⲉⲃⲥ ϫⲱⲥ (ⲋ︦) ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲥⲛⲁϩⲃⲥ̅ ϫⲱⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲥϣⲃ ϫⲱⲥ. ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲟⲩϣⲗⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲡⲉ ϣⲃ̅ ϫⲱⲥ ⲏ ϩⲉⲕⲉ ϫⲱⲥ. ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲥϩⲃ̅ⲥ ϫⲱⲥ: (6) For if a woman will not cover her head, then let her shave it: if it is a dishonour unto a woman to shear her head, or to shave it, let her cover her head. (6) εἰ γὰρ οὐ κατακαλύπτεται γυνή, καὶ κειράσθω· εἰ δὲ αἰσχρὸν γυναικὶ τὸ κείρασθαι ἢ ξυρᾶσθαι, κατακαλυπτέσθω.
(ⲍ̅) ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϩⲉⲃⲥ ϫⲱϥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲡⲉ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ (ⲍ︦) ⲡϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̅ϣ̅ϣⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉϩⲱⲃⲥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉϥⲁⲡⲉ. ⲉⲑⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ. (7) For the man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is an image and a glory of God: but the woman--she is a glory of her husband. (7) ἀνὴρ μὲν γὰρ οὐκ ὀφείλει κατακαλύπτεσθαι τὴν κεφαλήν, εἰκὼν καὶ δόξα θεοῦ ὑπάρχων· ἡ γυνὴ δὲ δόξα ἀνδρός ἐστιν.
(ⲏ̅) ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ (ⲏ︦) ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩϫⲓ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩϫⲓ ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ. (8) For the man was not brought from the woman, but the woman from the man: (8) οὐ γάρ ἐστιν ἀνὴρ ἐκ γυναικός, ἀλλὰ γυνὴ ἐξ ἀνδρός·
(ⲑ̅) ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲉⲛⲧ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ (ⲑ︦) ⲕⲁⲓⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩⲥⲛ̅ⲧ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ. (9) for the man was not also created because of the woman, but the woman because of the man: (9) καὶ γὰρ οὐκ ἐκτίσθη ἀνὴρ διὰ τὴν γυναῖκα, ἀλλὰ γυνὴ διὰ τὸν ἄνδρα.
(ⲓ̅) ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲭⲁ ⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲱⲛ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲥⲁⲫⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ (ⲓ︦) ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ϣ̅ϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲕⲱ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉϫⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲥⲁⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ. (10) therefore the woman ought to put a veil upon her head because of the angels. (10) διὰ τοῦτο ὀφείλει ἡ γυνὴ ἐξουσίαν ἔχειν ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς διὰ τοὺς ἀγγέλους.
(ⲓ̅ⲁ̅) ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲭⲱⲣⲓⲥ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲭⲱⲣⲓⲥ ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ (ⲓ︦ⲁ︦) ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲁϫⲛ̅ ϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲛ̅ⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ. (11) Nevertheless neither is a woman without man nor man without woman in the Lord. (11) πλὴν οὔτε γυνὴ χωρὶς ἀνδρὸς οὔτε ἀνὴρ χωρὶς γυναικὸς ἐν κυρίῳ·
(ⲓ̅ⲃ̅) ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲫϯ ⲛⲉ (ⲓ︦ⲃ︦) ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲧⲉ. ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡϩⲟⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲡⲉ. ⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ̅ ⲇⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲉ. (12) For according as the woman is [a] from the man, thus also the man is [a] through a the woman; all things are from God. (12) ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ γυνὴ ἐκ τοῦ ἀνδρός, οὕτως καὶ ὁ ἀνὴρ διὰ τῆς γυναικός· τὰ δὲ πάντα ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ.
(ⲓ̅ⲅ̅) ⲙⲁϩⲁⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥⲥϣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲑⲣⲉⲥⲧⲱⲃϩ ⲙ̀ⲫϯ ⲛ̀ϫⲱⲥ ϩⲟⲃⲥ ⲁⲛ (ⲓ︦ⲅ︦) ⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅. ϣ̅ϣⲉ ⲉⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉϣⲗⲏⲗ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲉ ϫⲱⲥ ϭⲟⲗⲡ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. (13) Judge in your own selves: that it was seemly for a woman to pray to God with her head not covered. (13) ἐν ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς κρίνατε· πρέπον ἐστὶν γυναῖκα ἀκατακάλυπτον τῷ θεῷ προσεύχεσθαι;
(ⲓ̅ⲇ̅) ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲥ ϯⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ ϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲣⲉ ϫⲱϥ ϣⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩϣⲱϣ ⲛⲁϥ ⲡⲉ (ⲓ︦ⲇ︦) ⲉⲓⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲉⲓⲕⲉⲫⲩⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲁⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲁⲛ. ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲉϩ ϥⲱ ⲟⲩⲥⲱϣ ⲛⲁϥ ⲡⲉ (14) Not even [the] nature herself teacheth you, That the man indeed, if he have long hair, it is a dishonour to him. (14) οὐδὲ ἡ φύσις αὐτὴ διδάσκει ὑμᾶς ὅτι ἀνὴρ μὲν ἐὰν κομᾷ, ἀτιμία αὐτῷ ἐστιν,
(ⲓ̅ⲉ̅) ϯⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡ ⲉⲣⲉ ϫⲱⲥ ϣⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϥⲱⲓ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧϣⲉⲃⲓⲱ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲱⲛ (ⲓ︦ⲉ︦) ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲉϩ ϥⲱ ⲟⲩⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲡⲉ. ϫⲉ ⲡϥⲱ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲉⲡⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲣ̅ϣⲱⲛ. (15) But the woman, if she have long hair, it is a glory to her; because the hair was given to her instead of a veil. (15) γυνὴ δὲ ἐὰν κομᾷ, δόξα αὐτῇ ἐστιν; ὅτι ἡ κόμη ἀντὶ περιβολαίου δέδοται.
(ⲓ̅ⲋ̅) ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲉⲣⲣⲉϥϣϭⲛⲏⲛ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲕⲁϩⲥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲫϯ (ⲓ︦ⲋ︦) ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲩⲙⲁⲓ ϯⲧⲱⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲧⲁⲡ ⲥⲩⲛⲓⲑⲓⲁ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲓⲙⲓⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. (16) But if (any) one thinketh to be contentious, [but] we (pron.) have not such a custom, neither the churches of God. (16) εἰ δέ τις δοκεῖ φιλόνεικος εἶναι, ἡμεῖς τοιαύτην συνήθειαν οὐκ ἔχομεν, οὐδὲ αἱ ἐκκλησίαι τοῦ θεοῦ.
(ⲓ̅ⲍ̅) ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲓϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲓⲑⲙⲁⲓⲟ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲑⲉⲃⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ (ⲓ︦ⲍ︦) ⲡⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ϯⲡⲁⲣⲁⲅⲅⲉⲓⲗⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲓⲉⲡⲁⲓⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲩϫⲓⲥⲉ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲩϩⲃ̅ⲃⲉ. (17) But ordering this I was not justifying you, because ye assemble not for the better, but the worse. (17) Τοῦτο δὲ παραγγέλλων οὐκ ἐπαινῶ ὅτι οὐκ εἰς τὸ κρεῖσσον ἀλλὰ εἰς τὸ ἧσσον συνέρχεσθε.
(ⲓ̅ⲏ̅) ⲛ̀ϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ϯⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ϩⲁⲛⲫⲱⲣϫ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ (ⲓ︦ⲏ︦) ϣⲟⲣⲡ̅ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ. ϯⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ̅ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲱⲣϫ̅ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ϯⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ. (18) For first indeed, being about to assemble together in the church, I hear of divisions being among you, and. I partly believe (it). (18) πρῶτον μὲν γὰρ συνερχομένων ὑμῶν ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ ἀκούω σχίσματα ἐν ὑμῖν ὑπάρχειν, καὶ μέρος τι πιστεύω.
(ⲓ̅ⲑ̅) ϩⲱϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛϩⲉⲣⲉⲥⲓⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛⲓⲥⲱⲧⲡ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲥⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ (ⲓ︦ⲑ︦) ϩⲁⲡⲥ̅ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲣⲉ ϩⲉⲛϩⲁⲓⲣⲉⲥⲓⲥ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲁⲥ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲕⲉⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅. (19) For there must be heresies among you, that the chosen also who are among you might be manifested. (19) δεῖ γὰρ καὶ αἱρέσεις ἐν ὑμῖν εἶναι, ἵνα καὶ οἱ δόκιμοι φανεροὶ γένωνται ἐν ὑμῖν.
(ⲕ̅) ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲕⲩⲣⲓⲁⲕⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲙϥ (ⲕ︦) ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ϭⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲉⲣⲏⲩ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲕⲩⲣⲓⲁⲕⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲙϥ̅. (20) Being about to assemble, then, together, it is not to eat a Lord's Supper: (20) συνερχομένων οὖν ὑμῶν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ οὐκ ἔστιν κυριακὸν δεῖπνον φαγεῖν,
(ⲕ̅ⲁ̅) ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϥⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛ̀ϭⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲟⲕⲉⲣ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲑⲁϧⲓ ⲇⲉ (ⲕ︦ⲁ︦) ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲣ̅ϣⲟⲣⲡ̅ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ: ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲙⲉⲛ ϩⲕⲁⲉⲓⲧ ⲟⲩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲁϩⲉ. (21) for each one taketh before (another) from his supper to eat; there is (one) who is hungry indeed, but there is (one) who is drunken. (21) ἕκαστος γὰρ τὸ ἴδιον δεῖπνον προλαμβάνει ἐν τῷ φαγεῖν, καὶ ὃς μὲν πεινᾷ, ὃς δὲ μεθύει.
(ⲕ̅ⲃ̅) ⲙⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲏⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲉ̀ⲥⲱ ϣⲁⲛ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓⲛ ⲛ̀ϯⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϯϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϯⲛⲁϫⲟϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲑⲙⲁⲓⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲛⲁⲑⲙⲁⲓⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ (ⲕ︦ⲃ︦) ⲙⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲏⲧⲛ̅ ⲡⲉⲓ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲥⲱ ϫⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲫⲣⲟⲛⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϯϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩ. ⲧⲁϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ. ⲧⲁⲉⲡⲁⲓⲛⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲱⲧⲛ̅ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲛ̅ϯⲉⲡⲁⲓⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ. (22) For have ye not houses to eat and to drink (in)? Or despised ye the church of God, and shamed them who have not? What shall (lit. will, thus again) I say to you? (Is it) that I justify you in this? I shall not justify you. (22) μὴ γὰρ οἰκίας οὐκ ἔχετε εἰς τὸ ἐσθίειν καὶ πίνειν; ἢ τῆς ἐκκλησίας τοῦ θεοῦ καταφρονεῖτε, καὶ καταισχύνετε τοὺς μὴ ἔχοντας; τί εἴπω ὑμῖν; ἐπαινέσω ὑμᾶς; ἐν τούτῳ οὐκ ἐπαινῶ.
(ⲕ̅ⲅ̅) ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲓϭⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲙ̀ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϫⲱⲣϩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲓⲕ (ⲕ︦ⲅ︦) ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲓϫⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓⲧⲁⲁϥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅. ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲧⲁⲁϥ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲥ̅. ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲕ (23) For I (pron.) received from the Lord that which I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was about to be betrayed (lit. given) took a loaf; (23) Ἐγὼ γὰρ παρέλαβον ἀπὸ τοῦ κυρίου, ὃ καὶ παρέδωκα ὑμῖν, ὅτι ὁ κύριος Ἰησοῦς ἐν τῇ νυκτὶ ᾗ παρεδίδετο ἔλαβεν ἄρτον
(ⲕ̅ⲇ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉⲡϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲁϥⲫⲁϣϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲡϫⲓⲛⲉⲣⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ (ⲕ︦ⲇ︦) ⲁϥⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ. ⲁϥⲡⲟϣϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲧⲁⲁϥ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲁⲣⲓⲡⲁⲓ ⲉⲡⲁⲣ̅ⲡⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ. (24) and he gave thanks, he brake it, and he said: 'This is my body, which will be given for you: this do for remembrance of me.' (24) καὶ εὐχαριστήσας ἔκλασεν καὶ εἶπεν· Τοῦτό μού ἐστιν τὸ σῶμα τὸ ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν· τοῦτο ποιεῖτε εἰς τὴν ἐμὴν ἀνάμνησιν.
(ⲕ̅ⲉ̅) ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲓⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ϯⲇⲓⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ⲙ̀ⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲧⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲧϥ ⲛ̀ⲥⲟⲡ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲥⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ (ⲕ︦ⲉ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲁⲡⲟⲧ ⲟⲛ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲓϩⲉ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲥⲁ ⲧⲣⲉⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲓⲁⲡⲟⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲇⲓⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ⲛ̅ⲃⲣ̅ⲣⲉ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲁⲥⲛⲟϥ. ⲁⲣⲓⲡⲁⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲡⲥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲡ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲁⲥⲱ ⲉⲡⲁⲣ̅ⲡⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ. (25) Thus also the cup after the supper, saying: 'This cup is the new testament in my blood. This do every time (in) which ye will drink it, remembering me.' (25) ὡσαύτως καὶ τὸ ποτήριον μετὰ τὸ δειπνῆσαι, λέγων· Τοῦτο τὸ ποτήριον ἡ καινὴ διαθήκη ἐστὶν ἐν τῷ ἐμῷ αἵματι· τοῦτο ποιεῖτε, ὁσάκις ἐὰν πίνητε, εἰς τὴν ἐμὴν ἀνάμνησιν.
(ⲕ̅ⲋ̅) ⲥⲟⲡ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲙ̀ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϣⲁⲧⲉϥⲓ̀ (ⲕ︦ⲋ︦) ⲥⲟⲡ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲡⲟⲧ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϣⲁⲛⲧϥⲉⲓ. (26) For every time (in) which ye will eat this bread and drink this cup, ye area proclaiming (the) death of the Lord until he come. (26) ὁσάκις γὰρ ἐὰν ἐσθίητε τὸν ἄρτον τοῦτον καὶ τὸ ποτήριον πίνητε, τὸν θάνατον τοῦ κυρίου καταγγέλλετε, ἄχρι οὗ ἔλθῃ.
(ⲕ̅ⲍ̅) ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲥⲱ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲉⲛⲟⲭⲟⲥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ (ⲕ︦ⲍ︦) ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲛϥ̅ⲥⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲡⲟⲧ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲉⲛϥ̅ⲙ̅ⲡϣⲁ ⲁⲛ. ϥⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲉⲛⲟⲭⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ. (27) Wherefore he who will eat from this bread and drink from this cup of the Lord unworthily shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. (27) Ὥστε ὃς ἂν ἐσθίῃ τὸν ἄρτον ἢ πίνῃ τὸ ποτήριον τοῦ κυρίου ἀναξίως, ἔνοχος ἔσται τοῦ σώματος καὶ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ κυρίου.
(ⲕ̅ⲏ̅) ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲥⲱ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲁⲫⲟⲧ (ⲕ︦ⲏ︦) ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲁⲍⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲟⲉⲓⲕ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛϥ̅ⲥⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲁⲡⲟⲧ. (28) But let the man prove himself, and thus let him eat from the bread and drink from the cup. (28) δοκιμαζέτω δὲ ἄνθρωπος ἑαυτόν, καὶ οὕτως ἐκ τοῦ ἄρτου ἐσθιέτω καὶ ἐκ τοῦ ποτηρίου πινέτω·
(ⲕ̅ⲑ̅) ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲥⲱ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲱ ⲉⲩϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲇⲓⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲛ (ⲕ︦ⲑ︦) ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲥⲱ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥⲥⲱ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲕⲣⲓⲙⲁ ⲉⲛϥ̅ⲇⲓⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ (29) For he who eateth and who drinketh, ate and drank for a judgement to him, not (being) discerner of the body. (29) ὁ γὰρ ἐσθίων καὶ πίνων κρίμα ἑαυτῷ ἐσθίει καὶ πίνει μὴ διακρίνων τὸ σῶμα.
(ⲗ̅) ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ϣⲱⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲙⲟⲕϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ (ⲗ︦) ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ̅ ϩⲁϩ ϣⲱⲛⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲗⲉϫⲗⲱϫ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛ̅ⲕⲟⲧⲕ̅ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ. (30) Therefore many are weak among you, and they are in pain; and many sleep. (30) διὰ τοῦτο ἐν ὑμῖν πολλοὶ ἀσθενεῖς καὶ ἄρρωστοι καὶ κοιμῶνται ἱκανοί.
(ⲗ̅ⲁ̅) ⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲛⲉⲣⲇⲓⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲓⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲩⲛⲁϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ (ⲗ︦ⲁ︦) ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲙⲟⲩϣⲧ̅ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ. (31) For if we were discerning ourselves, we should not be judged. (31) εἰ δὲ ἑαυτοὺς διεκρίνομεν, οὐκ ἂν ἐκρινόμεθα·
(ⲗ̅ⲃ̅) ⲉϥϯϩⲁⲡ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲫϯ ⲉϥϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲥⲉϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲙ̀ⲡϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ (ⲗ︦ⲃ︦) ⲉⲓⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲙ̅ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ. ⲉⲩϯⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲧϭⲁⲉⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲡⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ (32) For God is judging us, teaching us, that we may not be condemned with the Gentiles. (32) κρινόμενοι δὲ ὑπὸ κυρίου παιδευόμεθα, ἵνα μὴ σὺν τῷ κόσμῳ κατακριθῶμεν.
(ⲗ̅ⲅ̅) ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟϩⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ (ⲗ︦ⲅ︦) ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲁϩⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲉⲣⲏⲩ. (33) Wherefore then, my brethren, should ye assemble to eat, stay for one another. (33) Ὥστε, ἀδελφοί μου, συνερχόμενοι εἰς τὸ φαγεῖν ἀλλήλους ἐκδέχεσθε.
(ⲗ̅ⲇ̅) ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲟⲕⲉⲣ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲩϩⲁⲡ ⲡⲥⲉⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛⲓ̀ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲑⲁϣⲟⲩ (ⲗ︦ⲇ︦) ⲡⲉⲧϩⲕⲁⲉⲓⲧ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲏⲉⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲩⲕⲣⲓⲙⲁ. ϯⲛⲁⲧⲉϣ ⲡⲕⲉⲥⲉⲉⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲉⲓϣⲁⲛⲉⲓ: (34) If there is he who is hungry, let him eat in his house; that ye may not assemble for a judgement. But (the) rest (of the things), should I come, I shall ordain. (34) εἴ τις πεινᾷ, ἐν οἴκῳ ἐσθιέτω, ἵνα μὴ εἰς κρίμα συνέρχησθε. Τὰ δὲ λοιπὰ ὡς ἂν ἔλθω διατάξομαι.
