Isaiah 29

(ⲁ̅) ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲏⲗ. ⲑⲏ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ. ⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲅⲉⲛⲏⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ. ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲱⲁⲃ.	(1) Alas for the city of Ariel, which David besieged. Gather ye fruits year by year; eat ye, for ye shall eat with Moab.	(1) Οὐαὶ πόλις Αριηλ, ἣν Δαυιδ ἐπολέµησεν· συναγάγετε γενήµατα ἐνιαυτὸν ἐπ’ ἐνιαυτόν, φάγεσθε γὰρ σὺν Μωαβ.
(ⲃ̅) ⲉⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛ̀ⲁⲣⲓⲏⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲥϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲉⲥⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ.	(2) For I will grievously afflict Ariel: and her strength and her wealth shall be mine.	(2) ἐκθλίψω γὰρ Αριηλ, καὶ ἔσται αὐτῆς ἡ ἰσχὺς καὶ τὸ πλοῦτος ἐµοί.
(ⲅ̅) ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲕⲱϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲧⲉ ⲕⲁϣ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲭⲱ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲡⲩⲣⲅⲟⲥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲱϯ.	(3) And I will compass thee about like David, and will raise a mound about thee, and set up towers round thee.	(3) καὶ κυκλώσω ὡς Δαυιδ ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ βαλῶ περὶ σὲ χάρακα καὶ θήσω περὶ σὲ πύργους,
(ⲇ̅) ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ϣⲁ ⲉ̀ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲱⲙⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲥⲙⲏ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϧⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ.	(4) And thy words shall be brought down to the earth, and thy words shall sink down to the earth, and thy voice shall be as they that speak out of the earth, and thy voice shall be lowered to the ground.	(4) καὶ ταπεινωθήσονται οἱ λόγοι σου εἰς τὴν γῆν, καὶ εἰς τὴν γῆν οἱ λόγοι σου δύσονται· καὶ ἔσται ὡς οἱ φωνοῦντες ἐκ τῆς γῆς ἡ φωνή σου, καὶ πρὸς τὸ ἔδαφος ἡ φωνή σου ἀσθενήσει.
(ⲉ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲱⲓϣ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲧⲣⲟⲭⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲏⲓⲥⲓ ⲉⲩⲓⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ϣⲁ ⲡⲑⲏⲟⲩ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ϣⲱⲗϩ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲟϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟϯ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲥⲁⲃⲁⲱⲑ.	(5) But the wealth of the ungodly shall be as dust from a wheel, and the multitude of them that oppress thee as flying chaff, and it shall be suddenly as a moment,	(5) καὶ ἔσται ὡς κονιορτὸς ἀπὸ τροχοῦ ὁ πλοῦτος τῶν ἀσεβῶν καὶ ὡς χνοῦς φερόµενος, καὶ ἔσται ὡς στιγµὴ παραχρῆµα
(ⲋ̅) ⲟⲩϫⲉⲙⲡϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϧⲁⲣⲁⲃⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲛⲙⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲥⲙⲏ. ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲣⲁⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ. ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϣⲁϩ ⲛ̀ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ.	(6) from the Lord of Hosts: for there shall be a visitation with thunder, and earthquake, and a loud noise, a rushing tempest, and devouring flame of fire.	(6) παρὰ κυρίου σαβαωθ· ἐπισκοπὴ γὰρ ἔσται µετὰ βροντῆς καὶ σεισµοῦ καὶ φωνῆς µεγάλης, καταιγὶς φεροµένη καὶ φλὸξ πυρὸς κατεσθίουσα.
(ⲍ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙ̀ⲫⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲁⲥⲟⲩⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ. ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϧⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅. ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϧⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲛⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲥ. ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.	(7) And the wealth of all the nations together, as many as have fought against Ariel, and all they that war against Jerusalem, and all who are gathered against her, and they that distress her, shall be as one that dreams in sleep by night.	(7) καὶ ἔσται ὡς ὁ ἐνυπνιαζόµενος ἐν ὕπνῳ ὁ πλοῦτος τῶν ἐθνῶν πάντων, ὅσοι ἐπεστράτευσαν ἐπὶ Αριηλ, καὶ πάντες οἱ στρατευσάµενοι ἐπὶ Ιερουσαληµ καὶ πάντες οἱ συνηγµένοι ἐπ’ αὐτὴν καὶ θλίβοντες αὐτήν.
(ⲏ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲟⲕⲉⲣ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲣⲁⲥⲟⲩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲙ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ. ⲁ ⲧⲟⲩⲣⲁⲥⲟⲩⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲫⲗⲏⲟⲩ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙ̀ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲣⲁⲥⲟⲩⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲃⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲥⲱ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲃⲓ. ⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲉⲣϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ. ⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ. ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϧⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲥⲓⲱⲛ.	(8) And as men drink and eat in sleep, and when they have arisen, the dream is vain: and as a thirsty man dreams as if he drank, and having arisen is still thirsty, and his soul has desired in vain: so shall be the wealth of all the nations, as many as have fought against the mount Sion.	(8) καὶ ἔσονται ὡς οἱ ἐν ὕπνῳ πίνοντες καὶ ἔσθοντες, καὶ ἐξαναστάντων µάταιον αὐτῶν τὸ ἐνύπνιον, καὶ ὃν τρόπον ἐνυπνιάζεται ὁ διψῶν ὡς πίνων καὶ ἐξαναστὰς ἔτι διψᾷ, ἡ δὲ ψυχὴ αὐτοῦ εἰς κενὸν ἤλπισεν, οὕτως ἔσται ὁ πλοῦτος πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν, ὅσοι ἐπεστράτευσαν ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος Σιων.
(ⲑ̅) ϯⲟⲩⲱ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲱⲙⲧ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲑⲓϧⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲓⲕⲉⲣⲁ ⲁⲛ. ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲏⲣⲡ ⲁⲛ.	(9) Faint ye, and be amazed, and be overpowered, not with strong drink nor with wine.	(9) ἐκλύθητε καὶ ἔκστητε καὶ κραιπαλήσατε οὐκ ἀπὸ σικερα οὐδὲ ἀπὸ οἴνου·
(ⲓ̅) ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲧⲥⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲡⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛ̀ⲧⲱⲙⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϣⲑⲁⲙ ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲁⲗ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ. ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ. ⲛⲏ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲏⲡ	(10) For the Lord has made you to drink a spirit of deep sleep; and he shall close their eyes, and the eyes of their prophets and of their rulers, who see secret things.	(10) ὅτι πεπότικεν ὑµᾶς κύριος πνεύµατι κατανύξεως καὶ καµµύσει τοὺς ὀφθαλµοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ τῶν προφητῶν αὐτῶν καὶ τῶν ἀρχόντων αὐτῶν, οἱ ὁρῶντες τὰ κρυπτά.
(ⲓ̅ⲁ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓϫⲱⲙ ⲉⲧⲧⲟⲃ. ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ⲥϧⲁⲓ. ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲱϣ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϫⲟⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ ϣ̀ϫⲟⲙ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ ⲉ̀ⲱϣ ⲉϥⲧⲟⲃ ⲅⲁⲣ.	(11) And all these things shall be to you as the words of this sealed book, which if they shall give to a learned man, saying, Read this, he shall then say, I cannot read it, for it is sealed.	(11) καὶ ἔσονται ὑµῖν πάντα τὰ ῥήµατα ταῦτα ὡς οἱ λόγοι τοῦ βιβλίου τοῦ ἐσφραγισµένου τούτου, ὃ ἐὰν δῶσιν αὐτὸ ἀνθρώπῳ ἐπισταµένῳ γράµµατα λέγοντες Ἀνάγνωθι ταῦτα· καὶ ἐρεῖ Οὐ δύναµαι ἀναγνῶναι, ἐσφράγισται γάρ.
(ⲓ̅ⲃ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓϫⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ⲥϧⲁⲓ ⲁⲛ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲱϣ ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϯⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ⲥϧⲁⲓ ⲁⲛ.	(12) And this book shall be given into the hands of a man that is unlearned, and one shall say to him, Read this; and he shall say, I am not learned.	(12) καὶ δοθήσεται τὸ βιβλίον τοῦτο εἰς χεῖρας ἀνθρώπου µὴ ἐπισταµένου γράµµατα, καὶ ἐρεῖ αὐτῷ Ἀνάγνωθι τοῦτο· καὶ ἐρεῖ Οὐκ ἐπίσταµαι γράµµατα.
(ⲓ̅ⲅ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ϥϧⲉⲛⲧ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲥⲉⲉⲣⲧⲓⲙⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ϥⲟⲩⲏⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲣⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥⲑⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ ⲉⲫⲗⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϯ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲃⲱ ⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ	(13) And the Lord has said, This people draw nigh to me with their mouth, and they honour me with their lips, but their heart is far from me: but in vain do they worship me, teaching the commandments and doctrines of men.	(13) Καὶ εἶπεν κύριος Ἐγγίζει µοι ὁ λαὸς οὗτος τοῖς χείλεσιν αὐτῶν τιµῶσίν µε, ἡ δὲ καρδία αὐτῶν πόρρω ἀπέχει ἀπ’ ἐµοῦ, µάτην δὲ σέβονταί µε διδάσκοντες ἐντάλµατα ἀνθρώπων καὶ διδασκαλίας.
(ⲓ̅ⲇ̅) ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲁϩⲧⲟⲧ. ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲥⲃⲱ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲉⲩ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲕⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϩⲟⲡϥ.	(14) Therefore behold I will proceed to remove this people, and I will remove them: and I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will hide the understanding of the prudent.	(14) διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ προσθήσω τοῦ µεταθεῖναι τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον καὶ µεταθήσω αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀπολῶ τὴν σοφίαν τῶν σοφῶν καὶ τὴν σύνεσιν τῶν συνετῶν κρύψω.
(ⲓ̅ⲉ̅) ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲓⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲱⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲛ. ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲓⲣⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲧϩⲏⲡ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲛ. ⲓⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲉⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲛ. ⲓⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲣⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ.	(15) Woe to them that deepen their counsel, and not by the Lord. Woe to them that take secret counsel, and whose works are in darkness, and they say, Who has seen us? and who shall know us, or what we do?	(15) οὐαὶ οἱ βαθέως βουλὴν ποιοῦντες καὶ οὐ διὰ κυρίου· οὐαὶ οἱ ἐν κρυφῇ βουλὴν ποιοῦντες καὶ ἔσται ἐν σκότει τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν καὶ ἐροῦσιν Τίς ἡµᾶς ἑώρακεν καὶ τίς ἡµᾶς γνώσεται ἢ ἃ ἡµεῖς ποιοῦµεν;
(ⲓ̅ⲋ̅) ⲙⲏ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲉⲡ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲟⲙⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲣⲁⲙⲉⲩⲥ. ⲙⲏ ϥⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲗⲁⲥⲙⲁ ⲙ̀ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲡⲗⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲕⲉⲣⲡⲗⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ. ⲓⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ ⲙ̀ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲟⲛⲕϥ. ϫⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲙⲟⲛⲕⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲕⲁϯ.	(16) Shall ye not be counted as clay of the potter? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Thou didst not form me? or the work to the maker, Thou hast not made me wisely?	(16) οὐχ ὡς ὁ πηλὸς τοῦ κεραµέως λογισθήσεσθε; µὴ ἐρεῖ τὸ πλάσµα τῷ πλάσαντι Οὐ σύ µε ἔπλασας; ἢ τὸ ποίηµα τῷ ποιήσαντι Οὐ συνετῶς µε ἐποίησας;
(ⲓ̅ⲍ̅) ⲙⲏ ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲁⲛ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲓⲃⲁⲛⲟⲥ. ⲙ̀ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲭⲉⲣⲙⲏⲗⲟⲥ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲭⲉⲣⲙⲏⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲟⲡϥ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲓⲁϩϣϣⲏⲛ.	(17) Is it not yet a little while, and Libanus shall be changed as the mountains of Chermel, and Chermel shall be reckoned as a forest?	(17) οὐκέτι µικρὸν καὶ µετατεθήσεται ὁ Λίβανος ὡς τὸ ὄρος τὸ Χερµελ καὶ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Χερµελ εἰς δρυµὸν λογισθήσεται;
(ⲓ̅ⲏ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲕⲟⲩⲣ ⲉ̀ϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩϫⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲃⲁⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉⲩ. ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓϩⲓⲗⲟⲗ: ⲛⲓⲃⲁⲗ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲛ̀ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩ.	(18) And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book, and they that are in darkness, and they that are in mist: the eyes of the blind shall see,	(18) καὶ ἀκούσονται ἐν τῇ ἡµέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ κωφοὶ λόγους βιβλίου, καὶ οἱ ἐν τῷ σκότει καὶ οἱ ἐν τῇ ὁµίχλῃ ὀφθαλµοὶ τυφλῶν βλέψονται·
(ⲓ̅ⲑ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲑⲉⲗⲏⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ.	(19) and the poor shall rejoice with joy because of the Lord, and they that had no hope among men shall be filled with joy.	(19) καὶ ἀγαλλιάσονται πτωχοὶ διὰ κύριον ἐν εὐφροσύνῃ, καὶ οἱ ἀπηλπισµένοι τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἐµπλησθήσονται εὐφροσύνης.
(ⲕ̅) ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ. ⲁⲩϥⲱϯ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓⲛ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲁⲕⲓⲁ.	(20) The lawless man has come to nought, and the proud man has perished, and they that transgress mischievously have been utterly destroyed:	(20) ἐξέλιπεν ἄνοµος, καὶ ἀπώλετο ὑπερήφανος, καὶ ἐξωλεθρεύθησαν οἱ ἀνοµοῦντες ἐπὶ κακίᾳ
(ⲕ̅ⲁ̅) ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲑⲣⲟ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲥⲟϩⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲡⲩⲗⲏ. ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲭⲁⲩ ⲉⲩϭⲣⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲣⲓⲕⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϭⲓⲛ̀ϫⲟⲛⲥ.	(21) and they that cause men to sin by a word: and men shall make all that reprove in the gates an offence, because they have unjustly turned aside the righteous.	(21) καὶ οἱ ποιοῦντες ἁµαρτεῖν ἀνθρώπους ἐν λόγῳ· πάντας δὲ τοὺς ἐλέγχοντας ἐν πύλαις πρόσκοµµα θήσουσιν καὶ ἐπλαγίασαν ἐν ἀδίκοις δίκαιον.
(ⲕ̅ⲃ̅) ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡϭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ. ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲧϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ. ⲛⲁϥⲛⲁϭⲓϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥⲛⲁϣⲓⲃϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ϯⲛⲟⲩ.	(22) Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the house of Jacob, whom he set apart from Abraam, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall he now change countenance.	(22) διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον Ιακωβ, ὃν ἀφώρισεν ἐξ Αβρααµ Οὐ νῦν αἰσχυνθήσεται Ιακωβ οὐδὲ νῦν τὸ πρόσωπον µεταβαλεῖ Ισραηλ·
(ⲕ̅ⲅ̅) ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲁϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ϧⲁⲧⲉϥϩⲏ.	(23) But when their children shall have seen my works, they shall sanctify my name for my sake, and they sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.	(23) ἀλλ’ ὅταν ἴδωσιν τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν τὰ ἔργα µου, δι’ ἐµὲ ἁγιάσουσιν τὸ ὄνοµά µου καὶ ἁγιάσουσιν τὸν ἅγιον Ιακωβ καὶ τὸν θεὸν τοῦ Ισραηλ φοβηθήσονται.
(ⲕ̅ⲇ̅) ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲟⲣⲉⲙ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲉⲙⲓ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲕⲁϯ. ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲥⲁⲃⲟ ⲉ̀ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ. ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲗⲁⲥ ⲉⲧϫⲟϫⲉⲃ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲥⲁⲃⲟ ⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ.	(24) And they that erred in spirit shall know understanding, and the murmurers shall learn obedience, and the stammering tongues shall learn to speak peace.	(24) καὶ γνώσονται οἱ τῷ πνεύµατι πλανώµενοι σύνεσιν, οἱ δὲ γογγύζοντες µαθήσονται ὑπακούειν, καὶ αἱ γλῶσσαι αἱ ψελλίζουσαι µαθήσονται λαλεῖν εἰρήνην.
