(ⲁ︦) ⲙⲛ̅ⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲡⲟⲛⲏⲣⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲙ̅ⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲓ̈ⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ̅ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁϣϥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ	(1) And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord gave them into the hand of Madiam seven years	(1) Καὶ ἐποίησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὸ πονηρὸν ἔναντι κυρίου, καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐν χειρὶ Μαδιαµ ἔτη ἑπτά.
(ⲃ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧϭⲓϫ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ ⲁⲥϩⲣⲟϣ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲉⲓⲟ ⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ϩⲁⲡⲟ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩⲉⲓⲏ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛⲉⲥⲡⲏⲗⲁⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ϩⲏ ⲛ̅ϣⲁⲧⲱⲛⲉ	(2) And the hand of Madiam prevailed against Israel: and the children of Israel made for themselves because of Madiam the caves in the mountains, and the dens, and the holes in the rocks.	(2) καὶ κατίσχυσεν χεὶρ Μαδιαµ ἐπὶ Ισραηλ· καὶ ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἀπὸ προσώπου Μαδιαµ µάνδρας ἐν τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ τοῖς σπηλαίοις καὶ τοῖς ὀχυρώµασιν.
(ⲅ︦) ϣⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲥⲱϣⲉ ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ ⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲡⲁⲙⲁⲗⲏⲕ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲛ̅ϣⲁ ϣⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲡⲱϩⲧ̅ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ	(3) And it came to pass when the children of Israel sowed, that Madiam and Amalec went up, and the children of the east went up together with them.	(3) καὶ ἐγένετο ὅταν ἔσπειρεν ἀνὴρ Ισραηλ, καὶ ἀνέβαινεν Μαδιαµ καὶ Αµαληκ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ ἀνατολῶν καὶ ἀνέβαινον ἐπ’ αὐτόν·
(ⲇ︦) ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲕⲁⲣⲡⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲕⲁϩ ϣⲁⲛⲧⲟⲩⲡⲱϩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲅⲁⲍⲁ ⲉⲙⲉⲩϣⲉϫ ⲡⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⲛ̅ⲱⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲥⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲱ ϩⲛ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲟϩⲉ	(4) And they encamped against them, and destroyed their fruits until they came to Gaza; and they left not the support of life in the land of Israel, not even ox or ass among the herds.	(4) καὶ παρενέβαλλον ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς καὶ διέφθειραν τὰ ἐκφόρια τῆς γῆς ἕως τοῦ ἐλθεῖν εἰς Γάζαν καὶ οὐχ ὑπελείποντο ὑπόστασιν ζωῆς ἐν Ισραηλ καὶ ποίµνιον καὶ µόσχον καὶ ὄνον·
(ⲉ︦) ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲕⲉⲧⲃ̅ⲛⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉϣⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲥⲕⲏⲛⲏ ⲉϣⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛϣϫⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛⲉⲩⲕⲉ ϭⲁⲙⲟⲩⲗ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲙⲛ̅ ⲏⲡⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲛⲉϣⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲧⲁⲕⲟϥ	(5) For they and their stock came up, and their tents were with them, as the locust in multitude, and there was no number to them and their camels; and they came to the land of Israel, and laid it waste.	(5) ὅτι αὐτοὶ καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν ἀνέβαινον καὶ τὰς σκηνὰς αὐτῶν παρέφερον καὶ παρεγίνοντο ὡς ἀκρὶς εἰς πλῆθος, καὶ αὐτοῖς καὶ ταῖς καµήλοις αὐτῶν οὐκ ἦν ἀριθµός, καὶ παρεγίνοντο ἐν τῇ γῇ Ισραηλ τοῦ διαφθείρειν αὐτήν.
(ⲋ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲁϥⲣ̅ϩⲏⲕⲉ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁϩⲣⲁⲥ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ	(6) And Israel was greatly impoverished because of Madiam.	(6) καὶ ἐπτώχευσεν Ισραηλ σφόδρα ἀπὸ προσώπου Μαδιαµ, καὶ ἐκέκραξαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πρὸς κύριον.
(ⲍ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲁⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲓ̈ⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲙ̅ⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ	(7) And the children of Israel cried to the Lord because of Madiam.	(7) καὶ ἐγένετο ἐπεὶ ἐκέκραξαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πρὸς κύριον διὰ Μαδιαµ,
(ⲏ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓⲛ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛ̅ⲕⲏⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓ̈ⲛ̅ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲏⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲙⲛ̅ⲧϩⲙ̅ϩⲁⲗ	(8) And the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel; and he said to them, Thus says the Lord God of Israel, I am he that brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and I brought you up out of the house of your bondage.	(8) καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν κύριος ἄνδρα προφήτην πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ, καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ Ἐγώ εἰµι ὁ ἀναβιβάσας ὑµᾶς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐξήγαγον ὑµᾶς ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας
(ⲑ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓ̈ⲛⲉϩⲙ̅ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲕⲏⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲑⲗⲓⲃⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲓ̈ⲛⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓϩⲏ ⲙ̅ⲙⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓϯ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲩⲕⲁϩ	(9) And I delivered you out of the hand of Egypt, and out of the hand of all that afflicted you, and I cast them out before you; and I gave you their land.	(9) καὶ ἐξειλάµην ὑµᾶς ἐκ χειρὸς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς πάντων τῶν θλιβόντων ὑµᾶς καὶ ἐξέβαλον αὐτοὺς ἐκ προσώπου ὑµῶν καὶ ἔδωκα ὑµῖν τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν
(ⲓ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓ̈ϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲣ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲙⲟⲟⲣⲣⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲉⲩⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁ ⲡⲁϩⲣⲟⲟⲩ	(10) And I said to you, I am the Lord your God: ye shall not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell; but ye hearkened not to my voice.	(10) καὶ εἶπα ὑµῖν Ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑµῶν, οὐ φοβηθήσεσθε τοὺς θεοὺς τοῦ Αµορραίου, ἐν οἷς ὑµεῖς ἐνοικεῖτε ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν· καὶ οὐκ εἰσηκούσατε τῆς φωνῆς µου.
(ⲓ︦ⲁ︦) ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲁϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲁⲧ ⲧⲉⲣⲉⲙⲓⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲧⲁ ⲉⲫⲣⲁⲓⲙ ⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ ⲥⲓⲕⲓⲙⲁ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲱⲁⲥ ⲡⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲛ̅ⲉⲥⲧⲣⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲅⲉϣⲉⲱⲛ ⲡⲉϥϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲉϣⲟⲩⲉϣ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲥⲟⲩⲟ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩϩⲣⲱⲧ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲡⲱⲧ ϩⲁ ⲡϩⲟ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ	(11) And an angel of the Lord came, and sat down under the fir tree, which was in Ephratha in the land of Joas father of Esdri; and Gedeon his son was threshing wheat in a wine-press in order to escape from the face of Madiam.	(11) Καὶ ἦλθεν ἄíελος κυρίου καὶ ἐκάθισεν ὑπὸ τὴν δρῦν τὴν οὖσαν ἐν Εφραθα τὴν τοῦ Ιωας πατρὸς Αβιεζρι, καὶ Γεδεων ὁ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἐρράβδιζεν πυροὺς ἐν ληνῷ τοῦ ἐκφυγεῖν ἐκ προσώπου Μαδιαµ.
(ⲓ︦ⲃ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲓ̈ⲥ ⲡϫⲱⲱⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ϭⲟⲙ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲕ	(12) And the angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty in strength.	(12) καὶ ὤφθη αὐτῷ ἄíελος κυρίου καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν Κύριος µετὰ σοῦ, δυνατὸς τῇ ἰσχύι.
(ⲓ︦ⲅ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ̈ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲁ ⲛⲉⲓ̈ϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉϫⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩⲧⲱⲛ ⲛⲉϥϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲛⲉⲛⲉⲓⲟⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲛ̅ ⲁⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ϩⲛ̅ ⲕⲏⲙⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲛⲟϫⲛ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲡϫⲟⲓ̈ⲥ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲁⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲥ̅ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ	(13) And Gedeon said to him, Be gracious with me, my Lord: but if the Lord is with us, why have these evils found us? and where are all his miracles, which our fathers have related to us, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt? and now he has cast us out, and given us into the hand of Madiam.	(13) καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Γεδεων Ἐν ἐµοί, κύριε, καὶ εἰ ἔστιν κύριος µεθ’ ἡµῶν, ἵνα τί εὗρεν ἡµᾶς πάντα τὰ κακὰ ταῦτα; καὶ ποῦ ἐστιν πάντα τὰ θαυµάσια αὐτοῦ, ὅσα διηγήσαντο ἡµῖν οἱ πατέρες ἡµῶν λέγοντες Οὐχὶ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἀνήγαγεν ἡµᾶς κύριος; καὶ νῦν ἀπώσατο ἡµᾶς καὶ παρέδωκεν ἡµᾶς ἐν χειρὶ Μαδιαµ.
(ⲓ︦ⲇ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥϭⲱϣⲧ̅ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲕϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲓ̈ ⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϩⲙ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲧⲥ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲁⲓ̈ϫⲟⲟⲩⲕ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲕⲃⲱⲕ	(14) And the angel of the Lord turned to him, and said, Go in this thy strength, and thou shalt save Israel out of the hand of Madiam: behold, I have sent thee.	(14) καὶ ἐπέβλεψεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ ἄíελος κυρίου καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Πορεύου ἐν τῇ ἰσχύι σου καὶ σώσεις τὸν Ισραηλ, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐξαπέστειλά σε.
(ⲓ︦ⲉ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ̈ ⲡⲁϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ⲉⲓ̈ⲛⲁⲛⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲧⲁϣⲟ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲥⲣ̅ϭⲱⲃ ϩⲙ̅ ⲙⲁⲛⲁⲥⲥⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲟⲃⲕ̅ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲏⲓ̈ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲉⲓⲱⲧ	(15) And Gedeon said to him, Be gracious with me, my Lord: whereby shall I save Israel? behold, my thousand is weakened in Manasse, and I am the least in my father’s house.	(15) καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Γεδεων Ἐν ἐµοί, κύριε, ἐν τίνι σώσω τὸν Ισραηλ; ἰδοὺ ἡ χιλιάς µου ταπεινοτέρα ἐν Μανασση, καὶ ἐγώ εἰµι µικρὸς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ πατρός µου.
(ⲓ︦ⲋ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϥⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲛⲁⲡⲁⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱⲧ	(16) And the angel of the Lord said to him, The Lord shall be with thee, and thou shalt smite Madiam as one man.	(16) καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ ἄíελος κυρίου Κύριος ἔσται µετὰ σοῦ, καὶ πατάξεις τὴν Μαδιαµ ὡσεὶ ἄνδρα ἕνα.
(ⲓ︦ⲍ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲁⲓϭⲛ̅ ⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁϩⲣⲁⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲛⲁⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲛⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲕ ϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ̈ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲟⲩ	(17) And Gedeon said to him, If now I have found mercy in thine eyes, and thou wilt do this day for me all that thou hast spoken of with me,	(17) καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Γεδεων Καὶ εἰ εὗρον χάριν ἐν ὀφθαλµοῖς σου, καὶ ποιήσεις µοι σηµεῖον ὅτι σὺ λαλεῖς µετ’ ἐµοῦ·
(ⲓ︦ⲏ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲣ̅ⲡⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓⲙⲁ ϣⲁⲛⲧⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲕ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲉⲓⲛⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲕⲁⲁⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲕⲙ̅ⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ϯⲛⲁϭⲱ ϣⲁⲛⲧⲕ̅ⲓ̈	(18) depart not hence until I come to thee, and I will bring forth an offering and offer it before thee: and he said, I will remain until thou return.	(18) µὴ κινηθῇς ἐντεῦθεν ἕως τοῦ ἐλθεῖν µε πρὸς σέ, καὶ οἴσω τὴν θυσίαν µου καὶ θήσω ἐνώπιόν σου. καὶ εἶπεν Ἐγώ εἰµι καθήσοµαι ἕως τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι σε.
(ⲓ︦ⲑ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ̈ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲥ ⲛ̅ⲃⲁⲁⲙⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛ̅ⲛⲟⲉⲓⲧ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲓⲟϥ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲑⲁⲃ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁϥⲕⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲕⲟⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲩⲥⲱⲙⲓⲛ ⲁϥⲡⲁϩⲧϥ̅ ⲉⲧϭⲁⲗⲁϩⲧ̅ ⲁϥⲉⲛⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ̅ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲧⲉⲣⲉⲙⲓⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲕⲁⲁⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲙ̅ⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ	(19) And Gedeon went in, and prepared a kid of the goats, and an ephah of fine flour unleavened; and he put the flesh in the basket, and poured the broth into the pot, and brought them forth to him under the turpentine tree, and drew nigh.	(19) καὶ Γεδεων εἰσῆλθεν καὶ ἐποίησεν ἔριφον αἰγῶν καὶ οιφι ἀλεύρου ἄζυµα καὶ τὰ κρέα ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ κανοῦν καὶ τὸν ζωµὸν ἐνέχεεν εἰς χύτραν καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ὑπὸ τὴν δρῦν καὶ προσεκύνησεν.
(ⲕ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϫⲓ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲁϥ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲛ̅ⲁⲑⲁⲃ ⲛⲅ̅ⲕⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ϩⲁⲧⲛ̅ ⲧⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲍⲱⲙⲓⲛ ⲛⲅ̅ⲡⲁϩⲧϥ̅ ⲁϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ϩⲓⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ	(20) And the angel of God said to him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and put them on that rock, and pour out the broth close by: and he did so.	(20) καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ ἄíελος κυρίου Λαβὲ τὰ κρέα καὶ τοὺς ἄρτους τοὺς ἀζύµους καὶ θὲς πρὸς τὴν πέτραν ἐκείνην καὶ τὸν ζωµὸν ἔκχεον· καὶ ἐποίησεν οὕτως.
(ⲕ︦ⲁ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲓ̈ⲥ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲟⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧϥ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥϭⲉⲣⲱⲃ ⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉϥϭⲓϫ ⲁϥϫⲱϩ ⲉⲛ̅ⲁϥ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲛ̅ⲁⲑⲁⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲕⲱϩⲧ̅ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲡⲉⲧⲣⲁ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲁϥ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ⲟⲉⲓⲕ ⲛ̅ⲁⲑⲁⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁϩⲣⲛ̅ ⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ	(21) And the angel of the Lord stretched out the end of the rod that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened bread; and fire came up out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened bread, and the angel of the Lord vanished from his sight.	(21) καὶ ἐξέτεινεν ὁ ἄíελος κυρίου τὸ ἄκρον τῆς ῥάβδου τῆς ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἥψατο τῶν κρεῶν καὶ τῶν ἀζύµων, καὶ ἀνήφθη πῦρ ἐκ τῆς πέτρας καὶ κατέφαγεν τὰ κρέα καὶ τοὺς ἀζύµους· καὶ ὁ ἄíελος κυρίου ἀπῆλθεν ἐξ ὀφθαλµῶν αὐτοῦ.
(ⲕ︦ⲃ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓ̈ⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ϩⲟ ϩⲟ	(22) And Gedeon saw that he was an angel of the Lord; and Gedeon said, Ah, ah, Lord my God! for I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.	(22) καὶ εἶδεν Γεδεων ὅτι ἄíελος κυρίου ἐστίν, καὶ εἶπεν Γεδεων Ἆ ἆ, κύριε κύριε, ὅτι εἶδον τὸν ἄíελον κυρίου πρόσωπον πρὸς πρόσωπον.
(ⲕ︦ⲅ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϯϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉⲥⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲣ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲅ̅ⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ	(23) And the Lord said to him, Peace be to thee, fear not, thou shalt not die.	(23) καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ κύριος Εἰρήνη σοι, µὴ φοβοῦ µὴ ἀποθάνῃς.
(ⲕ︦ⲇ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲁϥⲕⲱⲧ ⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ϯⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϣⲁ ϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ̅ ⲉⲫⲣⲁⲑⲁ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲛ̅ⲉⲥⲇⲣⲓ	(24) And Gedeon built there an altar to the Lord, and called it The peace of the Lord, until this day, as it is still in Ephratha of the father of Esdri.	(24) καὶ ᾠκοδόµησεν ἐκεῖ Γεδεων θυσιαστήριον τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἐκάλεσεν αὐτὸ Εἰρήνη κυρίου ἕως τῆς ἡµέρας ταύτης ἔτι αὐτοῦ ὄντος ἐν Εφραθα πατρὸς τοῦ Εζρι.
(ⲕ︦ⲉ︦) ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϫⲓ ⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲁⲥⲉ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲧⲁⲩⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲡⲁ ⲡⲉⲕⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲕⲉⲙⲁⲥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁϣϥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ ⲛⲅ̅ϣⲣ̅ϣⲣ ⲡⲉⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲃⲁϩⲁⲗ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲕⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲛ ⲉⲧϩⲓϫⲱϥ ⲛⲅ̅ⲕⲟⲟⲣⲉϥ	(25) And it came to pass in that night, that the Lord said to him, Take the young bullock which thy father has, even the second bullock of seven years old, and thou shalt destroy the altar of Baal which thy father has, and the grove which is by it thou shalt destroy.	(25) Καὶ ἐγενήθη τῇ νυκτὶ ἐκείνῃ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ κύριος Λαβὲ τὸν µόσχον τὸν σιτευτὸν τοῦ πατρός σου, µόσχον τὸν ἑπταετῆ, καὶ καθελεῖς τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ Βααλ, ὅ ἐστιν τοῦ πατρός σου, καὶ τὸ ἄλσος τὸ ἐπ’ αὐτῷ ἐκκόψεις·
(ⲕ︦ⲋ︦) ⲛⲅ̅ⲕⲱⲧ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲓ̈ⲥ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡⲕⲟⲟϩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲱⲭ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲙ̅ⲙⲓϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲕⲉϫⲓ ⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲁⲥⲉ ⲛⲅ̅ⲧⲁⲗⲟϥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲗⲟⲕⲁⲩⲧⲱⲙⲁ ⲉϫⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ϣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲛ ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲕ̅ⲛⲁⲕⲟⲟⲣⲉϥ	(26) And thou shalt build an altar to the Lord thy God on the top of this Maozi in the ordering it, and thou shalt take the second bullock, and shalt offer up whole-burnt-offerings with the wood of the grove, which thou shalt destroy.	(26) καὶ οἰκοδοµήσεις θυσιαστήριον κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου τῷ ὀφθέντι σοι ἐπὶ τῆς κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους Μαωζ τούτου ἐν τῇ παρατάξει καὶ λήµψῃ τὸν µόσχον καὶ ἀνοίσεις ὁλοκαύτωµα ἐν τοῖς ξύλοις τοῦ ἄλσους, οὗ ἐκκόψεις.
(ⲕ︦ⲍ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲙ ⲙ̅ⲙⲏⲧ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲛⲉϥϩⲙ̅ϩⲁⲗ ⲁϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲣ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲏⲧϥ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲏⲓ̈ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲁⲁϥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ	(27) And Gedeon took ten men of his servants, and did as the Lord spoke to him: and it came to pass, as he feared the house of his father and the men of the city if he should do it by day, that he did it by night.	(27) καὶ ἔλαβεν Γεδεων τρεῖς καὶ δέκα ἄνδρας ἀπὸ τῶν δούλων αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐποίησεν καθὰ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτὸν κύριος· καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἐφοβήθη τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς ἄνδρας τῆς πόλεως µὴ ποιῆσαι ἡµέρας, καὶ ἐποίησεν νυκτός.
(ⲕ︦ⲏ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϣⲟⲣⲡⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥϩⲧⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲃⲁϩⲁⲗ ⲁⲩϣⲣ̅ϣⲱⲣϥ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲛ ⲉⲧϩⲓϫⲱϥ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲙⲁⲥⲉ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲛⲁϣⲧ̅ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲟϥ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲗⲟⲕⲁⲩⲧⲱⲙⲁ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡⲉⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲕⲟⲧϥ̅	(28) And the men of the city rose up early in the morning; and behold, the altar of Baal had been demolished, and the grove by it had been destroyed; and they saw the second bullock, which Gedeon offered on the altar that had been built.	(28) καὶ ὤρθρισαν οἱ ἄνδρες τῆς πόλεως τὸ πρωί, καὶ ἰδοὺ κατεσκαµµένον τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ Βααλ, καὶ τὸ ἄλσος τὸ ἐπ’ αὐτῷ ἐκκεκοµµένον, καὶ ὁ µόσχος ὁ σιτευτὸς ἀνηνεγµένος εἰς ὁλοκαύτωµα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τὸ ᾠκοδοµηµένον.
(ⲕ︦ⲑ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲉⲣⲏⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓϩⲱⲃ ⲁⲩϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϩⲟⲧϩⲧ̅ ⲁⲩⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲱⲁⲥ ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓϣⲁϫⲉ	(29) And a man said to his neighbour, Who has done this thing? and they enquired and searched, and learnt that Gedeon the son of Joas had done this thing.	(29) καὶ εἶπεν ἀνὴρ πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ Τίς ἐποίησεν τὸ πρᾶγµα τοῦτο; καὶ ἀνήταζον καὶ ἐξεζήτουν καὶ εἶπαν Γεδεων ὁ υἱὸς Ιωας ἐποίησεν τὸ πρᾶγµα τοῦτο.
(ⲗ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲱⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲉⲓ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϣⲣ̅ϣⲣ̅ ⲡⲉⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲃⲁϩⲁⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲕⲉⲉⲣⲉⲡⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲛ ⲉⲧϩⲓϫⲱϥ	(30) And the men of the city said to Joas, Bring out thy son, and let him die, because he has destroyed the altar of Baal, and because he has destroyed the grove that is by it.	(30) καὶ εἶπαν οἱ ἄνδρες τῆς πόλεως πρὸς Ιωας Ἐξάγαγε τὸν υἱόν σου καὶ ἀποθανέτω, ὅτι κατέσκαψεν τὸ θυσιαστήριον τοῦ Βααλ καὶ ὅτι ἔκοψεν τὸ ἄλσος τὸ ἐπ’ αὐτῷ.
(ⲗ︦ⲁ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲓⲱⲁⲥ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲣ̅ ⲡϩⲁⲡ ⲙ̅ⲡⲃⲁϩⲁⲗ ⲏ ⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥϩⲁⲡ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ϣⲁ ⲡⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲧⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲱϣ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩϣⲣ̅ϣⲣ̅ ⲡⲉϥⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ	(31) And Gedeon the son of Joas said to all the men who rose up against him, Do ye now plead for Baal, or will ye save him? whoever will plead for him, let him be slain this morning: if he be a god let him plead for himself, because one has thrown down his altar.	(31) καὶ εἶπεν Ιωας πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας τοὺς ἑσταµένους ἐπ’ αὐτόν Μὴ ὑµεῖς νῦν δικάζεσθε περὶ τοῦ Βααλ; ἢ ὑµεῖς σῴζετε αὐτόν; ὃς ἀντεδίκησεν αὐτόν, ἀποθανεῖται ἕως πρωί· εἰ ἔστιν θεός, αὐτὸς ἐκδικήσει αὐτόν, ὅτι κατέσκαψεν τὸ θυσιαστήριον αὐτοῦ.
(ⲗ︦ⲃ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲓ̈ⲉⲣⲟⲃⲟⲁⲗ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲃⲁϩⲁⲗ ϯϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲁϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲁⲩϣⲣ̅ϣⲱⲣϥ̅	(32) And he called it in that day Jerobaal, saying, Let Baal plead thereby, because his altar has been thrown down.	(32) καὶ ἐκάλεσεν αὐτὸ ἐν τῇ ἡµέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ Δικαστήριον τοῦ Βααλ, ὅτι κατέσκαψεν τὸ θυσιαστήριον αὐτοῦ.
(ⲗ︦ⲅ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲙⲁⲇⲓϩⲁⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ̅ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲡⲁⲙⲁⲗⲏⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲙ̅ⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ϣⲁ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩⲁϩ ⲉⲛⲉⲩⲉⲣⲏⲩ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲓⲁ ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ	(33) And all Madiam, and Amalek, and the sons of the east gathered themselves together, and encamped in the valley of Jezrael.	(33) Καὶ πᾶσα Μαδιαµ καὶ Αµαληκ καὶ υἱοὶ ἀνατολῶν συνήχθησαν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ διέβησαν καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι Ιεζραελ.
(ⲗ︦ⲇ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲡⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲓ̈ⲥ ⲁϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲉ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲙ ⲁϥⲥⲁⲗⲡⲓⲍⲉ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲡⲓⲅⲝ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲡ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲁⲃⲓⲉⲍⲉⲣ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲛϥ̅ⲟⲩⲁϩϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ	(34) And the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gedeon, and he blew with the horn, and Abiezer came to help after him.	(34) καὶ πνεῦµα θεοῦ ἐνέδυσεν τὸν Γεδεων, καὶ ἐσάλπισεν ἐν κερατίνῃ, καὶ ἐβόησεν Αβιεζερ ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ.
(ⲗ︦ⲉ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛϥⲁⲓϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲛⲁⲥⲥⲏ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲡⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲁϩϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛϥⲁⲓϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛ̅ⲁⲥⲏⲣ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲛ̅ⲍⲁⲃⲟⲩⲗⲱⲛ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲛⲉⲫⲑⲁⲗⲓ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲱⲙⲛ̅ⲧ ⲉⲣⲟϥ	(35) And Gedeon sent messengers into all Manasse, and into Aser, and into Zabulon, and into Nephthali; and he went up to meet them.	(35) καὶ ἀíέλους ἐξαπέστειλεν ἐν παντὶ Μανασση καὶ ἐβόησεν καὶ αὐτὸς ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν ἀíέλους ἐν Ασηρ καὶ ἐν Ζαβουλων καὶ ἐν Νεφθαλι, καὶ ἀνέβησαν εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτοῦ.
(ⲗ︦ⲋ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁϩⲣⲙ̅ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲕ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϩⲙ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓ̈ⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲕϫⲟⲟⲥ	(36) And Gedeon said to God, If thou wilt save Israel by my hand, as thou hast said,	(36) καὶ εἶπεν Γεδεων πρὸς τὸν θεόν Εἰ σῴζεις ἐν τῇ χειρί µου τὸν Ισραηλ, ὃν τρόπον ἐλάλησας,
(ⲗ︦ⲍ︦) ⲉⲓⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁⲕⲱ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓⲡⲟⲕϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲣⲧ ϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲓⲣⲉϫⲛⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛ ϯⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲛ̅ ⲧⲥⲟⲣⲧ̅ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ̅ ϯⲛⲁⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲕⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϩⲙ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓ̈ⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲟⲧ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲕϣⲁϫⲉ	(37) behold, I put the fleece of wool in the threshing-floor: if there be dew on the fleece only, and drought on all the ground, I shall know that thou wilt save Israel by my hand, as thou hast said.	(37) ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀπερείδοµαι τὸν πόκον τῶν ἐρίων ἐν τῷ ἅλωνι, καὶ ἐὰν δρόσος γένηται ἐπὶ τὸν πόκον µόνον καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ξηρασία, καὶ γνώσοµαι ὅτι σῴζεις ἐν τῇ χειρί µου τὸν Ισραηλ, ὃν τρόπον ἐλάλησας.
(ⲗ︦ⲏ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲓⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲁϥϣⲟⲣⲡϥ̅ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ ⲁϥⲱϥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲥⲟⲣⲧ̅ ⲁⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲉⲓⲱⲧⲉ ϣⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲡⲟⲕϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲣⲧ̅ ⲁϥⲙⲉϩ ⲟⲩⲗⲁⲕⲁⲛⲏ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ	(38) And it was so: and he rose up early in the morning, and wrung the fleece, and dew dropped from the fleece, a bowl full of water.	(38) καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως· καὶ ὤρθρισεν Γεδεων τῇ ἐπαύριον καὶ ἀπεπίασεν τὸν πόκον, καὶ ἀπερρύη ἡ δρόσος ἐκ τοῦ πόκου, πλήρης λεκάνη ὕδατος.
(ⲗ︦ⲑ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲅⲉⲇⲉⲱⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲧⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲕϭⲱⲛⲧ̅ ⲛⲟⲩϭⲥ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲧⲁϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓⲕⲉⲥⲟⲡ ϯⲛⲁϫⲱⲛⲧ̅ ⲟⲛ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲡⲟⲕϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲣⲧ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲧⲉⲡ ⲙⲟⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲛ̅ ⲧⲥⲟⲣⲧ̅ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣϥ̅ ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ϯⲱⲧⲉ ⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ	(39) And Gedeon said to God, Let not, I pray thee, thine anger be kindled with me, and I will speak yet once; I will even yet make one trial more with the fleece: let now the drought be upon the fleece only, and let there be dew on all the ground.	(39) καὶ εἶπεν Γεδεων πρὸς τὸν θεόν Μὴ ὀργισθήτω ὁ θυµός σου ἐν ἐµοί, καὶ λαλήσω ἔτι ἅπαξ· καὶ πειράσω ἔτι ἅπαξ ἐν τῷ πόκῳ, καὶ γενηθήτω ξηρασία ἐπὶ τὸν πόκον µόνον, ἐπὶ δὲ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν γενηθήτω δρόσος.
(ⲙ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲓⲣⲉ ϩⲓⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲙⲡⲉ ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲛ̅ ⲧⲥⲟⲣⲧ̅ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲧⲉ ϯⲱⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲉⲓ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ̅	(40) And God did so in that night; and there was drought on the fleece only, and on all the ground there was dew.	(40) καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς οὕτως ἐν τῇ νυκτὶ ἐκείνῃ, καὶ ἐγένετο ξηρασία ἐπὶ τὸν πόκον µόνον, ἐπὶ δὲ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἐγένετο δρόσος.
