(ⲁ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲇ̅ⲁ̅ⲇ̅ ⲛϩⲁⲉⲉⲩ. ⲟⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲇ̅ⲁ̅ⲇ̅ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲉⲥⲥⲁⲓ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ. ⲡⲁⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ̅ ⲉϫⲉⲙ ⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲯⲁⲗⲙⲟⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓ̈ⲏ̅ⲗ̅.	(1) And these are the last words of David. Faithful is David the son of Jessae, and faithful the man whom the Lord raised up to be the anointed of the God of Jacob, and beautiful are the psalms of Israel.	(1) Καὶ οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι Δαυιδ οἱ ἔσχατοι Πιστὸς Δαυιδ υἱὸς Ιεσσαι, καὶ πιστὸς ἀνήρ, ὃν ἀνέστησεν κύριος ἐπὶ χριστὸν θεοῦ Ιακωβ, καὶ εὐπρεπεῖς ψαλµοὶ Ισραηλ.
(ⲃ︦) ⲡⲉⲡⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡⲁⲗⲁⲟⲥ	(2) The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, and his word was upon my tongue.	(2) πνεῦµα κυρίου ἐλάλησεν ἐν ἐµοί, καὶ ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ γλώσσης µου·
(ⲅ︦) ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓ̈ⲏ̅ⲗ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲉⲡⲓ̈ⲏ̅ⲗ̅. ϫⲉ ⲧⲁⲩⲟ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ. ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛ̅ⲁϣ ⲛ̅ϩⲉ. ⲛ̅ⲑⲟ ⲧⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲣ̅ⲥ̅.	(3) The God of Israel says, A watchman out of Israel spoke to me a parable: I said among men, How will ye strengthen the fear of the anointed?	(3) λέγει ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ, ἐµοὶ ἐλάλησεν φύλαξ Ισραηλ Παραβολὴν εἰπόν Ἐν ἀνθρώπῳ πῶς κραταιώσητε φόβον θεοῦ;
(ⲇ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ⲉⲧⲣⲉ ⲡⲣⲏ ϣⲁ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲧⲟⲟⲩⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩϯⲟⲩⲱ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲕⲁϩ. ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡϩⲟⲩⲙⲡⲏ.	(4) And in the morning light of God, let the sun arise in the morning, from the light of which the Lord passed on, and as it were from the rain of the tender grass upon the earth.	(4) καὶ ἐν θεῷ φωτὶ πρωίας ἀνατείλαι ἥλιος, τὸ πρωὶ οὐ παρῆλθεν ἐκ φέγγους καὶ ὡς ἐξ ὑετοῦ χλόης ἀπὸ γῆς.
(ⲉ︦) ⲡⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲏⲓ̈. ⲙⲛ̅ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲧⲁϫⲣⲏⲩ. ⲟⲩⲇⲓⲁⲑⲩⲕⲏ ⲛ̅ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁϥⲥⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲥⲥⲃ̅ⲧⲱⲧ. ⲉⲁϥϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲓⲙ. ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣϥ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁϣⲁϫⲉ ⲧⲏⲣϥ̅ ⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲡⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϯⲟⲩⲱ ⲁⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ.	(5) For my house is not so with the Mighty One: for he has made an everlasting covenant with me, ready, guarded at every time; for all my salvation and all my desire is, that the wicked should not flourish.	(5) οὐ γὰρ οὕτως ὁ οἶκός µου µετὰ ἰσχυροῦ; διαθήκην γὰρ αἰώνιον ἔθετό µοι, ἑτοίµην ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ, πεφυλαγµένην, ὅτι πᾶσα σωτηρία µου καὶ πᾶν θέληµα, ὅτι οὐ µὴ βλαστήσῃ ὁ παράνοµος.
(ⲋ︦) ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ. ⲉⲩⲟ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩϣⲟⲛⲧⲉ ⲉⲥⲛⲏϫ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. ϫⲉ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϭⲟⲡⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ϭⲓϫ.	(6) All these are as a thorn thrust forth, for they shall not be taken with the hand,	(6) ὥσπερ ἄκανθα ἐξωσµένη πάντες αὐτοί, ὅτι οὐ χειρὶ ληµφθήσονται,
(ⲍ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲉⲡϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲡⲉⲛⲓⲡⲉ ⲧⲏⲣϥ̅. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲗⲟⲅⲭⲏ ϥⲛⲁⲣⲟⲕϩⲟⲩ. ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲧⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲕⲱ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩϣⲓⲡⲉ.	(7) and a man shall not labour among them; and one shall have that which is fully armed with iron, and the staff of a spear, an he shall burn them with fire, and they shall be burnt in their shame.	(7) καὶ ἀνὴρ οὐ κοπιάσει ἐν αὐτοῖς, καὶ πλῆρες σιδήρου καὶ ξύλον δόρατος, καὶ ἐν πυρὶ καύσει καυθήσονται αἰσχύνῃ αὐτῶν.
(ⲏ︦) ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲣⲁⲛ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲇⲩⲛⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ⲇ̅ⲁ̅ⲇ̅. ⲓ̈ⲉⲃϭⲟⲩϯⲥⲑⲉ ⲡⲉⲭⲁⲛⲁⲛⲁⲓⲟⲥ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲟ ⲛ̅ⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡϣⲟⲙⲛ̅ⲧ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱⲛ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲇⲓⲛⲱⲛ ⲡⲁⲍⲱⲛⲁⲓⲟⲥ. ⲡⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲕⲙ̅ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉϥⲥⲏϥⲉ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡϣⲟⲙⲛ̅ⲧ ⲛ̅ϣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ. ⲁϥⲣⲁϩⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱⲧ.	(8) These are the names of the mighty men of David: Jebosthe the Chananite is a captain of the third part: Adinon the Asonite, he drew his sword against eight hundred soldiers at once.	(8) Ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόµατα τῶν δυνατῶν Δαυιδ· Ιεβοσθε ὁ Χαναναῖος ἄρχων τοῦ τρίτου ἐστίν, Αδινων ὁ Ασωναῖος. οὗτος ἐσπάσατο τὴν ῥοµφαίαν αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ ὀκτακοσίους τραυµατίας εἰς ἅπαξ. —
(ⲑ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ ⲉⲗⲉⲁⲛⲁⲛ ⲡϣⲏⲛ. ⲡⲥⲟⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲉⲓⲱⲧ. ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱⲥⲓ. ⲡⲉⲧϩⲙ̅ ⲡϣⲟⲙⲛ̅ⲧ ⲛ̅ⲇⲩⲛⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ. ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲧⲣⲉϥⲛⲟϭⲛⲉϭ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲟⲫⲩⲗⲟⲥ ϩⲛ̅ ϩⲣⲉⲥⲥⲁ. ⲡⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲡⲡⲟⲗⲩⲙⲟⲥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲱϣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲓ̈ⲏ̅ⲗ̅.	(9) And after him Eleanan the son of his uncle, son of Dudi who was among the three mighty men with David; and when he defied the Philistines they were gathered there to war, and the men of Israel went up.	(9) καὶ µετ’ αὐτὸν Ελεαζαρ υἱὸς πατραδέλφου αὐτοῦ υἱὸς Σουσίτου ἐν τοῖς τρισὶν δυνατοῖς. οὗτος ἦν µετὰ Δαυιδ ἐν Σερραν, καὶ ἐν τῷ ὀνειδίσαι αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς ἀλλοφύλοις συνήχθησαν ἐκεῖ εἰς πόλεµον, καὶ ἀνέβησαν ἀνὴρ Ισραηλ·
(ⲓ︦) ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲡⲁⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲟⲫⲩⲗⲟⲥ ϣⲁⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲉϥϭⲓϫ ϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲉϥϩⲓⲟⲩⲉ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉϥϭⲓϫ ⲧⲱϭⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲧⲱⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲥⲏϥⲉ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ. ⲡⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉϥϩⲓ ⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲉϣⲱⲗ.	(10) He arose an smote the Philistines, until his hand was weary, and his hand clave to the sword: and the Lord wrought a great salvation in that day, and the people rested behind him only to strip the slain.	(10) αὐτὸς ἀνέστη καὶ ἐπάταξεν ἐν τοῖς ἀλλοφύλοις, ἕως οὗ ἐκοπίασεν ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ καὶ προσεκολλήθη ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὴν µάχαιραν, καὶ ἐποίησεν κύριος σωτηρίαν µεγάλην ἐν τῇ ἡµέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ· καὶ ὁ λαὸς ἐκάθητο ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ πλὴν ἐκδιδύσκειν. —
(ⲓ︦ⲁ︦) ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ ⲥⲁⲙⲁⲁ. ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲍⲁ. ⲡⲁⲣⲟⲩⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲟⲫⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϫⲙ̅ ⲡⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ϭⲱⲣϫ̅ ⲛⲉⲥⲉⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲧⲥⲱϣⲉ. ⲉⲥⲙⲉϩ ⲛ̅ⲁⲣϣⲓⲛ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲡⲱⲧ ϩⲁ ⲡϩⲟ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲟⲫⲩⲗⲟⲥ.	(11) And after him Samaia the son of Asa the Arachite: and the Philistines were gathered to Theria; and there was there a portion of ground full of lentiles; and the people fled before the Philistines.	(11) καὶ µετ’ αὐτὸν Σαµαια υἱὸς Ασα ὁ Αρουχαῖος. καὶ συνήχθησαν οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι εἰς Θηρία, καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ µερὶς τοῦ ἀγροῦ πλήρης φακοῦ, καὶ ὁ λαὸς ἔφυγεν ἐκ προσώπου ἀλλοφύλων·
(ⲓ︦ⲃ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ̅ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲉⲣⲓⲥ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩϫⲟⲥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲡⲁⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲟⲫⲩⲗⲟⲥ. ⲁ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ.	(12) And he stood firm in the midst of the portion, and rescued it, and smote the Philistines; and the Lord wrought a great deliverance.	(12) καὶ ἐστηλώθη ἐν µέσῳ τῆς µερίδος καὶ ἐξείλατο αὐτὴν καὶ ἐπάταξεν τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους, καὶ ἐποίησεν κύριος σωτηρίαν µεγάλην. —
(ⲓ︦ⲅ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲓ ϣⲟⲙⲛ̅ⲧ. ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧϣⲟⲙⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲣⲭⲏ. ⲏ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ ⲡϣⲟⲙⲛ̅ⲧ ⲛ̅ⲉⲙⲗⲁϩ. ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲅⲁⲍⲱⲗ. ⲉⲣⲱϥ ⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ. ⲉⲡⲉⲙϩⲁⲁⲩ ⲛ̅ⲟⲇⲟⲗⲁⲙ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲧⲁⲅⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲟⲫⲩⲗⲟⲥ. ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲉⲡⲓⲁ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉϩⲣⲁⲫⲁⲉⲓⲛ.	(13) And three out of the thirty went down, and came to Cason to David, to the cave of Odollam; and there was an army of the Philistines, and they encamped in the valley of Raphain.	(13) καὶ κατέβησαν τρεῖς ἀπὸ τῶν τριάκοντα καὶ ἦλθον εἰς Κασων πρὸς Δαυιδ εἰς τὸ σπήλαιον Οδολλαµ, καὶ τάγµα τῶν ἀλλοφύλων παρενέβαλον ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι Ραφαϊµ·
(ⲓ︦ⲇ︦) ⲇ̅ⲁ̅ⲇ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲡⲉⲣⲓⲟⲭⲏ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲟⲫⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ̅ ⲃⲏⲑⲗⲉⲉⲙ.	(14) And David was then in the strong hold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethleem.	(14) καὶ Δαυιδ τότε ἐν τῇ περιοχῇ, καὶ τὸ ὑπόστηµα τῶν ἀλλοφύλων τότε ἐν Βαιθλεεµ.
(ⲓ︦ⲉ︦) ⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩⲉⲡⲉⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ. ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲧⲥⲟⲓ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ. ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡϣⲏⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ ⲃⲏⲑⲗⲉⲉⲙ. ⲡⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ ⲧϭⲡⲩⲗϯⲏ. ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲁⲗⲗⲟ ⲫⲩⲗⲟⲥ. ⲛⲉϥϩⲛ̅ ⲃⲏⲑⲗⲉⲉⲙ.	(15) And David longed, and said, Who will give me water to drink out of the well that is in Bethleem by the gate? now the band of the Philistines was then in Bethleem.	(15) καὶ ἐπεθύµησεν Δαυιδ καὶ εἶπεν Τίς ποτιεῖ µε ὕδωρ ἐκ τοῦ λάκκου τοῦ ἐν Βαιθλεεµ τοῦ ἐν τῇ πύλῃ; τὸ δὲ σύστηµα τῶν ἀλλοφύλων τότε ἐν Βαιθλεεµ.
(ⲓ︦ⲋ︦) ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϣⲟⲙⲛ̅ⲧ ⲛ̅ⲇⲩⲛⲁⲧⲟⲥ. ⲁⲩⲛⲉϩⲛⲟⲩϩⲉ (sic) ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. ⲁⲩϫⲱⲧⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲡⲁⲣⲉⲙⲃⲟⲗⲏ. ⲁⲩⲙⲉϩ ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡϣⲏⲓ ⲛ̅ⲃⲏⲑⲗⲉⲉⲙ. ⲡⲉⲧϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲡⲩⲗⲏ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϫⲓ ⲡⲙⲟⲟⲩ. ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲇ̅ⲁ̅ⲇ̅. ⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲉⲥⲟⲟϥ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲧⲛⲉϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲑⲏ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ	(16) And the three mighty men broke through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well that was in Bethleem in the gate: and they took it, and brought it to David, and he would not drink it, but poured it out before the Lord.	(16) καὶ διέρρηξαν οἱ τρεῖς δυνατοὶ ἐν τῇ παρεµβολῇ τῶν ἀλλοφύλων καὶ ὑδρεύσαντο ὕδωρ ἐκ τοῦ λάκκου τοῦ ἐν Βαιθλεεµ τοῦ ἐν τῇ πύλῃ καὶ ἔλαβαν καὶ παρεγένοντο πρὸς Δαυιδ, καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν πιεῖν αὐτὸ καὶ ἔσπεισεν αὐτὸ τῷ κυρίῳ
