(ⲁ̅) ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲭⲁϩⲑⲏⲕ ⲉ̀ⲛⲓⲭⲣⲏⲙⲁ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣϫⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲣⲱϣⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲱⲛϧ	(ⲁ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲕⲁ ϩⲧⲏⲕ ⲉⲛⲉⲕⲭⲣⲏⲙⲁ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲣⲱϣⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ̈ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲁⲱⲛϩ̅.	(1) Set thy heart upon thy goods; and say not, I have enough for my life.	(1) Μὴ ἔπεχε ἐπὶ τοῖς χρήµασίν σου καὶ µὴ εἴπῃς Αὐτάρκη µοί ἐστιν.
(ⲃ̅) ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲟⲩⲁϩⲕ ⲛ̀ⲥⲁ ⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲟⲙ ⲉ̀ⲑⲣⲉⲕⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ	(ⲃ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲟⲩⲁϩⲕ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁ ⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲉⲕϭⲟⲙ.	(2) Follow not thine own mind and thy strength, to walk in the ways of thy heart:	(2) µὴ ἐξακολούθει τῇ ψυχῇ σου καὶ τῇ ἰσχύι σου πορεύεσθαι ἐν ἐπιθυµίαις καρδίας σου·
(ⲅ̅)	(ⲅ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϭⲙ̅ϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲣⲟⲓ̈; ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲕⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲛ̅ ⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ: ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩϫⲓⲕⲃⲁ ϥⲛⲁϫⲓⲕⲃⲁ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲕ̅.	(3) And say not, Who shall control me for my works? for the Lord will surely revenge thy pride.	(3) καὶ µὴ εἴπῃς Τίς µε δυναστεύσει; ὁ γὰρ κύριος ἐκδικῶν ἐκδικήσει.
(ⲇ̅)	(ⲇ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲓⲣ̅ⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁ ⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ̈; ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲟⲩϩⲁⲣϣ̅ ϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉ.	(4) Say not, I have sinned, and what harm hath happened unto me? for the Lord is longsuffering, he will in no wise let thee go.	(4) µὴ εἴπῃς Ἥµαρτον, καὶ τί µοι ἐγένετο; ὁ γὰρ κύριός ἐστιν µακρόθυµος.
(ⲉ̅)	(ⲉ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲣⲁⲑⲟⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲉⲥⲛⲁⲕⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲉϩ ⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲉϫⲛ̅ ⲛⲉⲕⲛⲟⲃⲉ.	(5) Concerning propitiation, be not without fear to add sin unto sin:	(5) περὶ ἐξιλασµοῦ µὴ ἄφοβος γίνου προσθεῖναι ἁµαρτίαν ἐφ’ ἁµαρτίαις·
(ⲋ̅)	(ⲋ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲛ̅ⲧϣⲁⲛϩⲧⲏϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲁⲕⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁϣⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲛⲟⲃⲉ.	(6) And say not His mercy is great; he will be pacified for the multitude of my sins:	(6) καὶ µὴ εἴπῃς Ὁ οἰκτιρµὸς αὐτοῦ πολύς, τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἁµαρτιῶν µου ἐξιλάσεται·
(ⲍ̅)	(ⲍ︦) ⲉⲣⲉ ⲡⲛⲁ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲧⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲧϥ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϥϭⲱⲛⲧ̅ ⲛ̅ⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϫⲛ̅ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲣⲉϥⲣ̅ⲛⲟⲃⲉ.	for mercy and wrath come from him, and his indignation resteth upon sinners.	ἔλεος γὰρ καὶ ὀργὴ παρ’ αὐτῷ, καὶ ἐπὶ ἁµαρτωλοὺς καταπαύσει ὁ θυµὸς αὐτοῦ.
(ⲏ̅)	(ⲏ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲱⲥⲕ ⲉⲕⲉⲧⲕ̅ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅.... ⲟⲩϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁ ⲟⲩϩⲟⲟⲩ:	(7) Make no tarrying to turn to the Lord, and put not off from day to day:	(7) µὴ ἀνάµενε ἐπιστρέψαι πρὸς κύριον καὶ µὴ ὑπερβάλλου ἡµέραν ἐξ ἡµέρας·
(ⲑ̅)	(ⲑ︦) ⲧⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲛⲏⲩ ϩⲛ̅ ⲟⲩϣⲥ̅ⲛⲉ. ⲛⲅ̅ⲛ....	for suddenly shall the wrath of the Lord come forth, and in thy security thou shalt be destroyed, and perish in the day of vengeance.	ἐξάπινα γὰρ ἐξελεύσεται ὀργὴ κυρίου, καὶ ἐν καιρῷ ἐκδικήσεως ἐξολῇ.
(ⲓ̅)	(ⲓ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲕⲁ ϩⲧⲏⲕ ⲉϩⲉⲛⲭⲣⲏⲙⲁ ⲛ̅ϫⲓⲛ̅ϭⲟⲛⲥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲛⲁϯ ϩⲏⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲕ ⲗ̅ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲫⲓⲥⲉ.	(8) Set not thine heart upon goods unjustly gotten, for they shall not profit thee in the day of calamity.	(8) Μὴ ἔπεχε ἐπὶ χρήµασιν ἀδίκοις· οὐδὲν γὰρ ὠφελήσει σε ἐν ἡµέρᾳ ἐπαγωγῆς.
(ⲓ̅ⲁ̅)	(ⲓ︦ⲁ︦) ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ϣⲱϣ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲧⲏⲩ ⲛⲓⲙ: ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ϩⲓ ϩⲓⲏ ⲛⲓⲙ.	(9) Winnow not with every wind, and go not into every way: for so doth the sinner that hath a double tongue.	(9) µὴ λίκµα ἐν παντὶ ἀνέµῳ καὶ µὴ πορεύου ἐν πάσῃ ἀτραπῷ· οὕτως ὁ ἁµαρτωλὸς ὁ δίγλωσσος.
(ⲓ̅ⲃ̅)	(ⲓ︦ⲃ︦) ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲕⲧⲁϫⲣⲏⲩ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲕⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲣⲙ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲕϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲁⲡⲉ.	(10) Be stedfast in thy understanding; and let thy word be the same.	(10) ἴσθι ἐστηριγµένος ἐν συνέσει σου, καὶ εἷς ἔστω σου ὁ λόγος.
(ⲓ̅ⲅ̅)	(ⲓ︦ⲅ︦) ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉⲕϭⲉⲡⲏ ⲉⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲅ̅ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲕϣⲁϫⲉ ϩⲙ̅ ⲟⲩⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲣⲙ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ.	(11) Be swift to hear; and let thy life be sincere; and with patience give answer.	(11) Γίνου ταχὺς ἐν ἀκροάσει σου καὶ ἐν µακροθυµίᾳ φθέγγου ἀπόκρισιν.
(ⲓ̅ⲇ̅)	(ⲓ︦ⲇ︦) ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲕ̅ ⲟⲩⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲣⲙ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧ ⲁϫⲓⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲧϩⲓⲧⲟⲩⲱⲕ: ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲛ ⲕⲁ ⲧⲉⲕϭⲓϫ ⲉⲣⲛ̅ ⲣⲱⲕ.	(12) If thou hast understanding, answer thy neighbour; if not, lay thy hand upon thy mouth.	(12) εἰ ἔστιν σοι σύνεσις, ἀποκρίθητι τῷ πλησίον· εἰ δὲ µή, ἡ χείρ σου ἔστω ἐπὶ τῷ στόµατί σου.
(ⲓ̅ⲉ̅)	(ⲓ︦ⲉ︦) ⲉⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲛ̅ ⲡⲉⲥⲱϣ ϩⲛ̅ ⲧϭⲓⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲗⲁⲥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉϥϩⲉ.	(13) Honour and shame is in talk: and the tongue of man is his fall.	(13) δόξα καὶ ἀτιµία ἐν λαλιᾷ, καὶ γλῶσσα ἀνθρώπου πτῶσις αὐτῷ.
(ⲓ̅ⲋ̅)	(ⲓ︦ⲋ︦) ......ⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ϫⲉ ⲡⲣⲉϥⲕⲁⲥⲕⲥ̅ .....ϭⲱⲣϭ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ϩⲙ̅ ⲡⲉⲕⲗⲁⲥ.	(14) Be not called a whisperer, and lie not in wait with thy tongue: for a foul shame is upon the thief, and an evil condemnation upon the double tongue.	(14) Μὴ κληθῇς ψίθυρος καὶ τῇ γλώσσῃ σου µὴ ἐνέδρευε ἐπὶ γὰρ τῷ κλέπτῃ ἐστὶν αἰσχύνη καὶ κατάγνωσις πονηρὰ ἐπὶ διγλώσσου. (15) ἐν µεγάλῳ καὶ ἐν µικρῷ µὴ ἀγνόει καὶ ἀντὶ φίλου µὴ γίνου ἐχθρός·
(ⲓ̅ⲍ̅)	(ⲓ︦ⲍ︦) ....ⲡⲉⲧϫⲓⲟⲩⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲟⲩϣⲓⲡⲉ .... ⲉⲧϩⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲙ̅ ..... (ⲓ︦ⲏ︦) ........ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲛ̅ ...	(15) Be not ignorant of any thing in a great matter or a small.	ὄνοµα γὰρ πονηρὸν αἰσχύνην καὶ ὄνειδος κληρονοµήσει· οὕτως ὁ ἁµαρτωλὸς ὁ δίγλωσσος.
